Hearing what one wants to hear is a temporary thing to me. That feeling of joy will suddenly change to the opposite feeling when the truth is known. What one wants to hear and the truth sometimes can be the same, but more often than not, they are different. I will always tell the truth and would hope the other person would do the same. Clearly you are not unattractive but why are you so hung up on looks? you have so much more to offer, don't you? To some I am not, but to others I am. Everyone does not have the same take on a persons appearance. I am not hung up on looks alone chick, I think the people I have in my friends list shows that. If a person is shallow, they have no value to m like that, but looks are somewhat important to everyone. Maybe to some extent..but it is way down on my list of what I am looking for. I would date a troll if he was smart, funny, kind and interesting. But honestly, people who post in those Hot or Not thread..I feel sorry for them. They are desperately seeking validation and it seems to me it must be because they think they have nothing else to offer. Thanks for the topic, this is interesting.

If you ask, I will tell you exactly the way I feel. i do not intentiionally set out to hurt anyones feelings, but if you put yourself in that position, it means you desire to know imho.
