So i was 15 when i got pregnant and 16 when i had my son. By the age of 21 i had 3 kids already. Now being 27 i have 4 (all by the same father and we were together for 12 years married for 8). If i have learned anything from this it has tought me one thing. I have 2 girls and 2 Boy's. I will be starting the "SEX" talk very early on as it is happening earlier and earlier. The girls will be put on birth control if i feel that they are being sexually active and i will supply my boy's with condoms. Same may argue that this is wroung but i want my kids to go to college and have a career before they have a family. I would not give my kids back for anything just wish i would of done things differently and in a different order. I seemed to have done things backwords.

debs sorry hun but disagree if you have a twelve year old havin sex that doesnt make them a adult and the same applys to any young girl around that age...peer pressure , fanscination, not been educated right.. and thinking they are adults all make up where they end up in a bad situation..but they are still children kids arnt kids anymore. i stopped going night clubbing because it was full of 15 year olds, i think in this day and age, they are adults, they are doing everything adults do, sex, alcohol etc. it just annoys me why they dont get the morning after pill, you can buy it over the counter now deb, and also if there having sex why are they using contraception?? if people were resposible there wouldnt be such a need for abortions, apart from the exceptions i said. go on the pill, use protection etc, so many babies being murdered and it can be totally prevented. |

I know could be extremely isolated cases, where abortion could be "recommended", when the mother´s life is in "risk", but extremely risk. Nonetheless, what happens with people that think abortion is so normal like brush your teeth after each food!!!!!, it is a life!. These people know what abortion is before hand, but continue several times,....

I know could be extremely isolated cases, where abortion could be "recommended", when the mother´s life is in "risk", but extremely risk. Nonetheless, what happens with people that think abortion is so normal like brush your teeth after each food!!!!!, it is a life!. These people know what abortion is before hand, but continue several times,.... I totally agree not just once but twice, three times and so on.... didn't they realize after the first time what causes it and how to prevent it! |

also if youve had unprotected sex, why dont they go to a doctor and get the morning after pill, you can even buy it over the counter here. all youve got to do is walk to a chemist. im sorry but theres NO excuses. So killing a child when it is a day old isnt murder huh? Some argue that one as well. no it isnt, but if there not going to keep the baby fullstop, its better to take one tablet,when the baby is less than 24 hours old, than wait for the baby to develop and get fingers, and toes, or have the babys ribs and skull crushed, dont you think?? |

Humans are not animals...if you want to be a parent that badly it shouldnt matter what age they are. Now that is something that is disgusting to me. All of the children in this world that need homes, and because they are not cute little babies, their lives are not worth as much? Kudos. But the real fact of the matter is; too many want a baby, a small child to raise. Not a grown child or teenager. Stastistics show that many children yet to be adopted are indeed older and teen age. It isn't a matter of being bad because they want a young child. It is merely that they want to do the raising. Kat |

I agree. They may not be pregnant in the first place but if there is that chance stop it within the first 24 hrs instead of waiting several weeks or months.

Kat If i was more stable and had a big enough house i would adopt/ foster the older ones and the ones that have several kids from the same familie. I did as well. I adopted boys that were older. I love them with all my heart. But, I also knew their parents. I think it made a difference.

I totally agree not just once but twice, three times and so on.... didn't they realize after the first time what causes it and how to prevent it! this is exactly what i said. i dont know if you saw but i knew someone who has one child, and had 3 abortions, here in the uk you can only have 3 FREE abortions, she had unprotected sex again, and thought she was pregnant, and she coudnt afford to pay for another one. luckily she wasnt pregnant, and i was so glad, as she beat the one child she had. some people just dont deserve children. you would think after 3 abortions, they would learn from it, but it appears they dont. i swear these people who have 6 or more abortions get pleasure out of murdering a baby, else they just wouldnt do it. |

well deb, they shouldnt be having sex anyway at 15, thats illegal, im sorry but like others have said, if your mature enough to have sex, then deal with the conquences.
also deb, fair enough they have sex, but why dont they use something, or go and get the morning after pill??? theres no excuse for that. all you have to do is walk in a chemist and get the pill and thats that. at 15, shes capable of that. like i said deb, i dont get why people wait and let the baby form hands, feet etc, before its aborted, and some even wait so late the baby has to be delived vaginally, and thats when they crush its skull and ribs, that is cruel and sick, when NONE of that would be have to happen if they just walked to a chemist. |

i understand what your saying hun...but you got a 15 year old kid whos had sex found herself pregnant hasnt told her parents or anyone cos shes scared, she isnt going to go into a chemist and get a pill, hun, yeh shes had sex but its the whole taboo thing isnt it you shouldnt be doing it, so whats a kid going to do , do it, doesnt make em an adult and certainly doesnt make em equiped to handle it, yeh ok some can especially if they get the support but its bloody hard and either way , dont think anyone will ever agree on this one hun...

well you have unprotected sex, its got to enter your mind you could be pregnant, so go buy a pill, or see a doctor. i cant see whats so difficult about that.

What others do is not my concern, and it was an open adoption so I know to this day where she is and used to have vistits with her. It was her choice when she was 15 to not have contact, but I firmly believe that I did what was in her best interest. She is now attending an Ivy League College and I live on 9000$ a year. You do the math. Did I do right by her by not killing her? Did her parents who cannot have children of thier own benefit as much as she? I could have just killed her and been done with it. A womans body, but what of the childs body? Anyone ever watch "The Silent Scream"? If you did/do, you might just think a bit more about the body. The child has a body too! Enough said. I have to leave this thread.! |
