Well It is a Life & murder is murder to me. Its not something I could do.But on the other hand I feel that if a woman has been raped or molested,incest has occured..or if its a matter of life & death,That this choice should be hers to Make & live with and answer for..should there be any repercussions..there after..Who am I to judge..

Your are the FIRST person in all the threads on abortion that I have commented on that she said that besides myself.

My personal opinion, is that unless the womans life is threatened by the pregnancy then she has absolutely no right to abort. It is murder in my eyes. And as far as a woman having the right to choose with out the fathers say in the matter, hell no also. If the father is not around or wants nothing to do with you or the child, then no he has no say. But if the child's father steps forward and says he wants that child, then you are responsible for providing the man with his rightful child, as you agreed to have sex in the first place.

disclaimer: I am not saying that a rapist has the right to his child, but a man who has consentual sex, and finds out the lady is pregnant should have the same exact rights to the raising of that child as the woman does.

In my life I have come across 5 girls who have had more than three abortions. None of them were older than 17.

I just know of a friend who's girlfriend aborted a child that he wanted to raise because she wanted to punish him for ending the relationship.

where does it state in the laws that a man loses his right to be a father, simply because the mother doesn't want to be a mother?

It all boils down to one simple question. "are you willing to be a parent or give the child up for adoption if you don't want to be a parent"
If you do not want to be a parent, and are unwilling to let the child be born if a pregnancy occurs, then you should not be having sex. Period.
For a lady victim to rape, I am sorry but as a lady posted in here using herself as an example, abortion is still wrong. Yes, you might not be emotionally capable of raising the child, like this lady is, however there is still adoption. And for every single person that claims adoption is useless and not working, bull****. Almost every single newborn baby that is put up for adoption is adopted, most before they are even born.
yes I can understand (although I still do not agree personally) how someone would choose abortion if it meant saving the lady's life. But unless you can prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that the child would be born dead (dead upon birth, not dying shortly thereafter), then in my opinion abortion is nothing more than legalized murder.

I just feel that in some cases such as rape, incest, or if because of prenatal testing you know the child will have some very serious medical condition, then abortion is OK. I do have a problem though if it is used just as a form of birth control.
