Whenever I hold the door for someone and they don't acknowledge me, I just look at them and say, "Don't worry......I will be a gentleman and hold this for you". Makes them turn around and see that I am not a gentleman and almost always makes them say thank you. Unless they are too embarassed.devil

i still like the deer in the headlights look they givelaugh

I'm stubborn in a way when it comes to help. I'll only ask for it (i won't really even ask) when i absolutely can't do something on my own. Heck i won't even go to the doctors when I'm sick. I remember last summer i split my lip open at hockey and refused to go to the hospital for stitches. I recommended butterfly stitches. I of course was dragged in anyways happy .

I'm the same way but when you have too much to handle and someone offers help (even if it's just to listen to you vent) let them help

had been talking to a young lady for some time young over 50, we decided to meet when she approached the door to the restaraunt I opened he door for her, while we were waiting to be seated she said very loud so everyone in the place could hear her, do you think I am helpless I know how to open my own d**n door. this really ticked me off, I handed the flowers and box of candy to the hostess, told her that possibly she would prefer to eat alone and walked out the door.

yes it was wrong of her to not say TY  but in fairness its just a door. Ill have people hold doors for me when Im like 1 - 2 minutes away doing something else... LOL. makes me feel like Im suppose to hurry.

It still freaks me out when Im eating in my car while driving or being drove, and I stop at a street light and the car next to me just watches me eat. So I just stare straight ahead and stop chewing and eating until I start moving again...

might be a little to 'emo', but what about people that ask 'hows it going' and then just keep walking away?! thats like me asking 'are you selling something' and then just walking away... its not a hello or a greeting, its a question! wait for a responce. indifferent

IDK just wanted to post again.
