Like Jeannie has already pointed out. You confuse your religion with God. I prayed to this God for over 40 years a very simply humble and unselfish single prayer that wasn’t even for me. And it was never answered in 40 years. The man clearly lied. Obviously he was a sinner just like everyone else. Now what this says to me.....Is that at one point you did pray to the same God as me......and were terribly hurt because God didn't answer your prayers.....I am sorry abra but imo if anyone calls God a lier that shows hate.......and if anyone calls god a sinner that shows hate.....so fool these people abra all you want....but you don't fool me. |

And lil lady you need to get a grip on what you say......Ask anyone and they will tell you I DO NOT TELL PEOPLE WHAT THEY HAVE TO BELIEVE. Obviously your impression of Abra is different than mine. He rejected your concept of god and he rejected your religion, that I can see. I have read many of his past posts, so I feel I am familiar with how he believes. He seems to be a very spiritual and loving man to me, who's concept of God has changed. It is the Biblical depiction of God that he has totally rejected, and that he is angry about. You shouldn't take it so personal, try to understand where he is coming from. |

I have been away for a long time and I haven't missed a thing ...  Sharpshooter we are on the side that wins You've got to be kidding me! Separation ... winners ... losers ...? Such human characteristics and not 'God-like' at all ...  No really,, I'm not kidding you Feral Jeannie understand I have been talking with abra for a very long time. And yes my sweet he did believe in the same God as me...And was hurt because God didn't answer his prayers. But that is no reason to hate God..... I would never ever ever hate God because something didn't go my way.....And if you want to call it Faith or whatever.....I don't care........I see what abra and others have gone through time and time and time again......Stop blaming God. The quote you posted was taken out of context in another conversation. It's only valid from your point of view because you assume that Jesus was God. It was posted in the spirit of being rhetorical sarcasm in the face of what was claimed in ancient doctrines. The fact is that what was claimed in that doctrine did not come to pass. Typically when things are claimed and turn out not to be true we view them as ‘lies’. There’s no need to fabricate emotions or motivations on behave of the person who had been lied to. |
