It isn't just proof for me....It's proof for billions of people on this planet....and the reason also for me.....is so someone coming into the religion thread and sees the proof I put out there.....will think to themselves, "self this might be worth looking into." I like the proof that feral has put in this thread.

And I didn't want just like thinkers......

It is faith. It is not proof. (I don't care how many billions of people on the planet believe it, it is still faith. ) And you are right about one thing, "thinkers" would never see it as proof.

yes and Faith in My Father God allows me to speak to him and know the desires of Him for me. And your right I Have Faith that He is, was, and always will be.....and The Lord my God has me 100% and unlike some I listen when he speaks and I follow as directed and reap the rewards in doing so. So yea for me all good. And it's ok if it doesn't work for others.....it is your choice and I would never want otherwise for you.....And I don't look at my brothers and sisters in Christ as a "Club" as redy put it....But rather as my friends, people that I look up to learn, learn from, fellowship with. And I don't think we gang up on anyone we defend our beliefs as others defend their non belief and if you don't like.....Well such as life.

quote]and happy we are on the side that wins

I think it's the simple fact that Christians believe they are at war with the rest of the world that causes all their animosity. The religion becomes a war zone and their God becomes a war monger looking to recruit soldiers.

If they could ever learn to be a peace with their fellow man then the animosity would go away. But they refuse to do that. They keep pushing and shoving with the swords of they accusation against non-Christians as having rejected God, and being on the side of Satan.

Their war is an imaginary war that has no truth in reality. It should be quite clear in the minds of any sane person that there have been many non-Christians and even atheists who have been very good people. It’s a proven fact that being a Christian is not necessary to be a good person. All people who do not believe in Christianity are not on the side of evil. To believe they are is the greatest myth ever.

To not believe in something is not the same as rejecting it. A person can’t reject something they don’t even believe is true. The only way you can reject something is to first believe that it is true and then denounce it as being something you disagree with.

The whole ‘war mentality’ of the Christian religion is its nemesis. It’s the epitome of bigotry.

‘Soldiers for Christ’ is the greatest oxymoron the world has ever known.

This unwarranted delusion of a "Holy War" is what gives rise to all the animosity associated with Christianity.

Again thank all mighty and powerful god abra for your insight....but once again at least for me you are sooooooo soooo far off base. I am not at war with anyone....except satan.......Reality check I am in a war zone but it has nothing to do with you or anyone else for that matter.....And God is no war monger.....I am at total peace withing myself and with my fellow man. And cmon abra if your honest with yourself you did reject God and that is your own business....but call an ace an ace here........For whatever reason God totally pissed you off and that is your deal. You can hate Him, reject him all you want....it's honestly no skin of His or my nose. And again its not my place to judge you abra....never was, never will be.....You live with your choices and I am way ok with that.

I also don't dispute that people of all backgrounds are good....I do feel more to it then that....but thats just for me.......it doesn't mean a golly ding dang thing in your imaginary world and again that is ok by me.

And again pretty much assuming that as a Christian I am insane and feel the whole world are full of bad people if they don't believe exactly as I do.....pfftttttt take a look sometime at my friends list.....most are not Christians and yes I love them to death......

Take your own words abra......If I believe In God, Christ and the Bible is that any reason for you to reject me......because again if your being totally honest you do......And let me see if I get this next part right.....As you believed in God and then rejected God does that make what you believe in now the all and all of life......

And I would be careful who you are calling bigots my sweet.

Is that like the fight against terrorism? You can't find them, you can't name them, you can't describe them, you don't know where they live, you don't even know if they really exist and yet it is battle that never ends.

Get a grip. Satan? You need a reality check yourself.

Reality check I am in a war zone but it has nothing to do with you or anyone else for that matter.....And God is no war monger.....I am at total peace withing myself and with my fellow man.

You are in a war zone and yet you are at total peace with yourself and with your fellow man. God is not a war monger. So what is this war zone you are in that keeps you at peace with your fellow man?

And cmon abra if your honest with yourself you did reject God and that is your own business....but call an ace an ace here........

Abra did not reject God. He rejects your religion. Your religion IS NOT GOD. Get that strait please.

For whatever reason God totally pissed you off and that is your deal. You can hate Him, reject him all you want....it's honestly no skin of His or my nose.

I can't believe you would even say such a thing. Are you serious? (Does God have skin on his nose?) laugh laugh

And again its not my place to judge you abra....never was, never will be.....You live with your choices and I am way ok with that.

That's for sure! Never was, never will be. You can't even seem to make any sense IMO. But you do judge.

Get a grip. Satan? You need a reality check yourself.

ANSWER: Again another one that knows all......a jeanniebean god of her own......And the only reality check I need love is to wonder how much of a grip satan really has on some of you......but then again not my gig......

ANSWER: You need pay attention.....satan....the one that you think I need to get a grip.......

And cmon abra if your honest with yourself you did reject God and that is your own business....but call an ace an ace here........[/qoute]

Abra did not reject God. He rejects your religion. Your religion IS NOT GOD. Get that strait please.

ANSWER: Ohhhh and you obviously didn't read where he did reject God after praying for 40 years about something...So get your info before you come in thinking you know all.

For whatever reason God totally pissed you off and that is your deal. You can hate Him, reject him all you want....it's honestly no skin of His or my nose.

I can't believe you would even say such a thing. Are you serious? (Does God have skin on his nose?) laugh laugh

ANSWER: My answer had nothing to do with what you said jeannie.......you honestly need to think before you speak.

And again its not my place to judge you abra....never was, never will be.....You live with your choices and I am way ok with that.

That's for sure! Never was, never will be. You can't even seem to make any sense IMO. But you do judge.

ANSWER: And you just like to write to see yourself doing so.

Probably. I should be working on something else instead I am here talking to you. That is pretty stupid, I admit. laugh laugh

Aba believes in God, just not the God you describe and worship. Anyone can see that.

I hope your battle with "Satan" turns out well.

Jeannie understand I have been talking with abra for a very long time. And yes my sweet he did believe in the same God as me...And was hurt because God didn't answer his prayers. But that is no reason to hate God....On the contrary.....When I almost lost my husband....and it was very very close. I gathered more close to God...and received much strength from him. I would never ever ever hate God because something didn't go my way.....And if you want to call it Faith or whatever.....I don't care........I see what abra and others have gone through time and time and time again......Stop blaming God.

I really don't believe that Aba blames "God." I think he blames "Religion."

I don't think people should blame "God" (or anyone else) for their life or their problems. People need to take responsibility for their lives. We all have past trauma that needs to heal before we can move forward. Changing a core belief system is very traumatic. It takes a lot of strength.

But just because someone does not accept your religious convictions you have no right to tell them or anyone that they hate God or reject God. You do not own God, and neither does Christianity.

I find it's a matter of faith for me. There's all type of apologetics, but you either believe it or you don't, bottom line. I think God gives us all the choice to believe or not. I've found that belief, baptism, communion, going to church to worship, and study and fellowship have enhanced my faith and understanding. The books, "The Purpose Filled Life" and "The Purpose Filled Church"'ll also shed some light for you if you'd care to read them.

Sooooo .... do you speak for James now too Feral? He has made it abundantly clear to anyone who has read him or knows him that he does not hate God ... he just defines it differently than you do ... if you 'respect' him as you say you do then let him walk his path his way without all of the judgment.

Is There Proof the Bible Is The Inspired Word of God!!!!

Not really. Man decided what would be included in the Bible, not God. God didn't just hand over a completed book and say here you go everything is here. Man himself decided what would be included, to fit what he wanted to convey. This was done several times by different people.

http://www.catholicherald.com/saunders/98ws/ws981126.htm

Hence the Roman Catholics have a 'version' of the Bible not followed by 'born again Christians' as do Lutherans and Anglicans. There is no more a 'true and original' copy of the Bible. Even the first accepted Bible was decided by man.

Yes actually he did blame God.....And then decided that because God didn't answer his prayers that he would shun God and find another way....And hey I am ok with that.....Except that God didn't answer for God's reason and in the end their is a reason for that.....This is what I find so hard....when things are going great in people's lives do they get on their knees and thank God for all that he does......I do every day....I anoint the father and thank him for everything....But when something bad happens in people's lives who is the first to get blamed....yep God.......And this I just see as the wrong and backwards way to go about it.

And lil lady you need to get a grip on what you say......Ask anyone and they will tell you I DO NOT TELL PEOPLE WHAT THEY HAVE TO BELIEVE. NEITHER DO I PUT WORDS IN OTHERS MOUTH......ABRA WAS THE ONE THAT SAID IT NOT ME........ASK HIM INSTEAD OF SPEAKING OF THINGS YOU KNOW NOTHING OF....

THESE ARE ABRA'S WORDS NOT MINE

I prayed to this God for over 40 years a very simply humble and unselfish single prayer that wasn’t even for me. And it was never answered in 40 years. The man clearly lied. Obviously he was a sinner just like everyone else.

Now clearly unless you a ditz where he states I prayed to this God for over 40 years........and it as never anwered...and if your calling God a lier it surely doesn't take a rocket scientist to indicate hate....and not only that but I know the story.......and please I would never write about anyone unless I was taking in verbatum from that persons own type.
