They were both traumatic for me but the death of my spouse in May 3 2005 hurt a whole lot more. I am glad I had my higher power to help me deal with it. It has really helped me to have a higher power to turn to.

Death and divorce are both tramatic. The scars are their either way. In my experience, I still cry at times, my husband of 23 years died 5 years ago. Complications of diabetes. I do not cry over my divorce or for the man I married. Being alive we have choices. Death is the final moment.

The death of my wife was more traumatic than my divorce. Both happened because I was not in the right relationship with the Lord.

I went through a lot of pain because of that and decided to quit running and turn to him instead. Things still hurt, but at least I feel I'm in the right place now. Maybe things'll work out better with the Lord than without. I sure hope so.

Yashafox, I sure hope your right! I am sort of in the same place, with the Lord. It's an odd place, full of questions!
