Lisa, Thank you for your concern and for your ear. It is very much appreciated. My daughter and I are miles apart tonight so this is hard. The power of prayers do work

Lynn this is JUST the place to come!

You have probably seen this, it's been posted online time & time again, but I think it really suits this situation. We are real people out here with real wishes for your son's safe return home.

Friends without Faces

We sit and we type, and we stare at our screens
We all have to wonder, what this possibly means.

With our mouse we roam, through the rooms in a maze
Looking for something or someone, as we sit in a daze.

We chat with each other, we type all our woes
Small groups we do form, and gang up on our foes.

We wait for somebody, to type out our name
We want recognition, but it is always the same.

We give kisses and hugs, and sometimes flirt
In IMs we chat deeply, and reveal why we hurt.

We do form friendships - but - why we don't know
But some of these friendships, will flourish and grow.

Why is it on screen, we can be so bold
Telling our secrets, that have never been told.

Why is it we share, the thoughts in our mind
With those we can't see, as though we were blind.

The answer is simple, it is as clear as a bell.
We all have our problems, and need someone to tell.

We can't tell real people, but tell someone we must
So we turn to the 'puter, and to those we can trust.

Even though it is crazy, the truth still remains
They are Friends Without Faces, and odd little names.

I want to thank you all for you kind thoughts and prayers. I recieved news that my son is wounded but alive and on his way to Germany. His brothers keeper... My Pride. Thank you so much for your caring and support towards this stranger. It will not be forgotten.

My hear goes out to you and sending him my prayers God Bless Him and thank him for all he has done for this country and for us. May he return safe and sound.

My prayers are with your son, you, and your family.

Don't ever feel bad about asking for support and prayers from your friends here online. You haven't met a lot of us yet, but we can still be your friends and support you. Lots of us have asked for prayers and support at different times in our lives and the incredible people on this site always respond with great support.

I am so glad that you have received word on your son and he is being taken care of. Continued prayers for a quick recovery. I hope he will be able to come home soon. Take care.
