Topic: Starting a diet again.... | |
---|---|
I've got about 15-20 lbs I'd like to lose. Anyone want to join me in a challenge to do the same. Let's give ourselves 60 days from today - say April 15, 2008 to do it. We'll share our progress on this site.
If you could share things that make it tough for you to lose weight (stay on a diet) it would be appreciated. For me boredom is why I tend to over eat. Thanks |

Dude...I'd love too, but I'm already 5'6" and weigh 155lbs. a stiff wind knocks me over.
However I have noticed now that I don't get to workout like I use to, and I'm on a computer all day, drinking massive ammounts of energy drinks keeps the weight off. I have no idea why I posted that. |

I lost 2 lbs so far this month. Tho I have lots to lose, I set my goal small. 10 lbs. If I can do that, then I can work on the next goal. Baby steps, I say!

So far today I've had two eggs with salt; two bowls of puff wheat cereal (with sugar and 2% milk) ; a tim horton's coffee (double double) ; a tea (sugar and milk); all that is left for today is supper and a "snack"

ya know, in all seriousness....
I have never felt that over eating is the issue, its what your eating. when I needed to loose weight I pounded energy drinks all day long and ate mainly fruits. but I snacked on fruits all day long. now that the weight is gone, I am addicted to energy drinks, but I eat 5 to 7 times a day, (Full meals) and I don't gain any weight. and it dosent seem to matter what I eat. I'm not saying this to brag or anything, I'm just trying to share what I did, maybe it will help, maybe it won't. everyone is diffrent. |

I think I'm gonna start the best life diet again. I was doing good for awhile.
The first step is to eat a healthy breakfast, lunch and dinner can be whatever, a snack, drink lots of water and get exercising. Thats it for the first step |

When I grow up I wanna be just like Drifters13 (j/k).
But he is right - one should eat a minimum of 5 meals a day or more. bkfast - had coffee black (no sugar/milk/creamer) and a banana snack - raisins; small glass of OJ lunch - tuna fish on a salad; water snack - popcorn; water dinner - fish and veggies |
