No. The only way to change a person is to change themselves. Others may ask, but most will understand that you will live your life the way that you want.

Keep in mind that they would separate you from your kids. If you didn't join your significant other would be forced to write you a letter saying they were breaking off all contact with you. If you had kids that would include them too. That if you joined they could station you anywhere and make you do basic slave labor and of you didn't like it and tried to run they would bring you back and punish you by making you work a more menial job locked away somewhere with no contact to the outside world. I understand what your saying rabbit, but that sounds like a lot of religions. Ive known "christian" churches in my local community that engage in similiar practices. Name one

I dont think those sceince goofys would like me very mutch,I like my duckhunting and going to that church out in the swamp where all the birds are I think its a gift from god when your setting there in the boat and havent seen a thing all morning and all of a sudden 1000 duck fly rite over your head and all you can do is sit there and watch the grace of their flight into the rushes your setting in(just dont stand up,they will run you downor knock you out of the boat )and no I didnt even think about shooting,it was way to beutiful to mess up.Now thats a church to me

First off, If scientology was even a religious based idea then maybe. But, it no more than a book written by an idiot. I have read Dianetics, Yes. It is nothing more than an elaborate "Pyramid Scheme!" L. Ron Hubbard was actually a very smart man because he knew there was a sucker born every minute. You have got to be kidding me. Scientolgy does not belong in the religious forum's because it is not religion based. It is based on something call endgrams. WTF! LMAO. Get a clue people!

It is nothing more than an elaborate "Pyramid Scheme!" L. Ron Hubbard was actually a very smart man because he knew there was a sucker born every minute. You have got to be kidding me. Well, Its is called the International Church of Scientology and is a recognized church in most countries including the U.S. and U.K.

How much more offensive can you get, if you have accused Christians of perpetrating such terrible crimes? What would you call the above post? a) Gratuituous assertion. b) Character assasination. c) Childish games. d) All of the above It's (a), because you make a statement of fact, but refuse to provide factual support for that statement. It's (b), because you make a very damaging and unsubstantiated claim against Christians. It's (c), because you aren't taking the subject very seriously. Say what you will about Rabbit, but the dude is worked up about very real violations of human rights, being commited today by CoS. Human rights should be unquestioned. Human rights violations should be taken seriously and claims should be investigated. So your post is (d), all of the above. It's also just this side of Libel...if you had named a church in particular, it would be libel. I'm sure we could spend all day coming up with what was wrong with that post, but I'm done.

all I can say is that I wouldn't convert to anything for anyone. I accept people for they are and I want someone that accepts me the way I am without trying to "fix" me. I'm not broken...

Im not making this stuff up !! Thats why this is so difficult. The local Holiness church controls the entire political establishment. They dress differently. They kick people out. They did not allow the sell of alcohol until recently They tell you to stay away from family and friends that are not members. They pray and post their religious doctrines everywhere including the courthouse and the jail and schools. All of the local officials are part of the same church. You must not know a lot about the bible belt.
