Scientology - scary stuff to be sure ... no I wouldn't convert ...
of course now that I checked out the Holiness church online that seems pretty scary too ... they are the one true church - the others are false churches...false prophets...false preachers, Trinity is the anti-christ ... my gosh ...  I hope that isn't indicative of them all ...

Oh, right there you go. They aren't Christian. Christian churches believe that Jesus is the only truth way to God and that the various denominations are interpretations on Jesus' teaching. Any church that claims to be the only way is a cult. |

I agree spider ... anyone or any organization that claims to be the only way ... is a scary thing in my book. |

 No Im saying all religions are like that Its normal I brought it up in relation to what rabbit was saying about Scientology. I am a member of neither religion. Im saying that those thing are normal in all religions. Why pick on just one??

Thats why I didnt want to tell anybody what the religion in my community is. I wanted to discuss Scientology. Not discuss the religion in my town and whether its a cult or not. This is what always happens when I try to talk to a so called "Christian".

In my oppinion scientology is just plain wrong but that is the decission of each individual.

Sounds like alot of atimnation. ( sp) That has been for thousands of years. Sounds like you are back in the Hill country. Where you just know better than to not conform.Sounds like what you have are some of the last hold outs from a 100 years ago. I would just leave..Blessings of Hope....Miles |
