If you are not affiliated with a local church,they will do everything they can to find something to arrest you for or fine you for in order to dicourage you from living here.

Sounds to me like you have a problem with ALL Christian churches based on one bad experience.

I grew up here. I just pretend to agree with them.

Im not and I dont Suzy. Im just telling you what its like here. Ive never had a negative experience with church.

Really? Do you advocate the removing of the right to vote from Christians? Otherwise, how can you complain about this? If your local Christians elect Christian politicians...how is that wrong?

Dry county laws exist all over the south. They are very old laws, which I'm sure nobody alive had anything to do with.



Do they enforce this? Are you a member of this church? How do you know that they make these edicts?



I find that VERY hard to believe. I don't doubt they pray in those places, but the ACLU would be all over them if they posted Christian literature in those places.



Once again...what's wrong with that? If they have the votes (how the hell could one church have enough members to win all political seats?), then they have the right to put whomever (no matter the person's religion) into office.

They hold prayer in courthouse,school,everyday and have the 10 commandments posted in every public building. We dnt have no ACLU around here. You really dont understand this. A lawyer from the ACLU wouldnt get anywhere around here. They restricted cable telivision access until recently. I grew up as one and I suppose they think I still am. I dress like them sometimes. Long sleeves,pants. No jewelry. Belt and boots. They control the vote because they have the numbers. Thats how they control everything.All the police and public officials are from the same church.

Think about it people religon is all man made that means some human came up with the concept and the practices of each religon!!!!!!!!The only thing i feel we should all know is that we should all make up our own minds on what we beleive!
Me I beleive my life has been spared 3 times just ask the hospitals i was in each of the times.
I do not beleive it was the doctors or the church that saved my life. I beleive the doctors had alot to do woth it but i am sure of this, I made the decision to live no one else and all the prayers to God, Alah Or jahova would not have saved me.
My take on religon is teach your children to beleive in them selvs and not hurt others and the rest is up to them.

Prayer in public isn't illegal. It's been done since the union was founded. Congress opens every day with a prayer. The 10 commandments is always posted inside of courthouses, because our laws are based on them.

As for the post about if you don't belong to the church they arrest you or do all they can to run you out of town I grew up in just such a town.

So now your starting to believe me !! LOL Now your starting to understand how it works. Technically its all legal. I never said it wasnt. I was pointing out that Scientology doesnt sound much different in its practices than the practices of the church in my local community.

The town i grew up in was all of 215 people the bishop was the principal of the school too and the judge was his brother etc...
You get the picture i was actually told i would never graduate because i was not a member of their church!!! So what did I do I left school!! Now I have a degree from UW Plattville Engenering sciences. I just wrote my first book, working on a second currently,also working on opening my own business!! They told me i would never be anything because i was not in their religon well I say Look at me now!!!!

Superfluous bull****! Scientology a church? I think not. It was founded in the 50's by a man with a get rich scheme. Granted it is no different than Jim Baker using the PTL club as a get rich scheme. But, Scientology has no God. Heck, even MT. Olympus has God's. It is no more than a "PYRAMID SCHEME!" and anyone that reads that damn book who has any intellect about them can disseminate this. The person who has paid in the most money holds the most power in this mad religion. It is a joke. Bah, I'd rather sell my soul to the devil and have written in blood than be stupid and join L.
