Expanding terrorism. On the contrary, foreign terrorists, such as Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, have lost ground. They've alienated Iraqis of every stripe. Iraqis regard the foreigners as murderers, wreckers and blasphemers, and they want them gone. The Samarra attack may, indeed, have been a tipping point--against the terrorists.

Hatred of the U.S. military. If anything surprised me in the streets of Baghdad, it was the surge in the popularity of U.S. troops among both Shias and Sunnis. In one slum, amid friendly adult waves, children and teenagers cheered a U.S. Army patrol as we passed. Instead of being viewed as occupiers, we're increasingly seen as impartial and well-intentioned.

you will note the source... someone who has been ther and saw that. this is real evidence of what is happening on the ground there. It goes to prove my point that if we had eliminated poverty, had a chicken in every pot and a car in every garage, we would never hear a word about it thru our liberal/ communist media. ... which in my opinion is criminal. undermining our efforts by spouting lies is not free speech its treason.

If a force larger than us occupied our country illegally and we had no options but to live with their occupation, you and I would wave and cheer them too. Fear will do amazing things.

uh huh. must be nice to live in your idyllic lil world. Remamber the torture chambers? gassing his own people? Do you recall these and other atrocities that were a part of daily life in iraq? ILLEGALLY THERE? Where does that come from? The people of Iraq, with the exception of some terrorists, are happy to be out from under the hussain regime. thier only fear now is that people like these libs will convince the americans to pull out. Wake up.

An old saying: "The only thing to fear is 'fear' itself."

And, fear is only a word.

Im not saying you think this, but we aren't even close to being as brutal as they have been grown prone to being treated. Most of the ones i met actually liked us to some degree. To say they fear us is a bit of an overstatement. They feel less afraid of us then they did of Sadam. They may fear attacking us, which is why they kill more than 10 times more Iraqi nationals than U.S. troops. Once again, I only saw Baghdad, Sadre City, and Mosul. But, again, my source is myself, not the media.

as for me ill take the word of one live witness over the entire liberal/ communist news sources. Oh and thank you drivin for your service... and God Bless. I have the honor of having access to a lot of returning vets, and all thier stories are of a similar vein. Im sorry that the media paints the situation so badly, but there are some of us that do know the facts despite thier efforts.
I said right from the start ( when the media had this whole country whipped up into a kill all of em mentality... remember?)that we shouldent go there. To me, what we SHOULD HAVE NOT DONE is irrelavent, though. Now we owe it to the people of iraq to finish what we started, not pull out too soon and leave them hanging.... from the lampposts... which is what will happen if we leave early.
everybody hates it when we pull out early. lol.

It does not seem to matter whether If it is Iraq or some other country that is controlled by American puppets, the Americans seem to have troops there in order to keep their puppets in power , but as soon as the American military leaves those many countries, then the American puppets will be in trouble, hanging from lamp posts ,etc. It is going to HAPPEN, that is sort of like the law of gravity you just can not just keep thumbing your nose at it and expect no consequences. The common people in all these countries just hate our Zionist(favor Israel above the US) American puppets and they know that we are getting spread too thin, and eventually they will remove all of our puppets from their countries.(these are Zionist puppets) In the 1300's, 1400's 1500's and 1600's the TALMUDISTS were kicked out of many countries because it was found that they are DISLOYAL(TREASONISTS) to all countries that they live in and always try to undermine and overthrow their hosts governments. I hear that they even refer to themselves as the SERPENT PEOPLE (SATANISTS) TALMUDISTS have no use for JESUS CHRIST ,they hate him and anything to do with Christianity.MOST secret organizations at the top levels are often SATANISTS. Watch out for all your little kids(stolen)

Bring our troops home from Iraq now, our puppets in Iraq are doomed and their days are likely numbered. They have a TIGER by the tail and don't know how to let loose of him. They can not hold him forever. So turn him loose NOW!!!

Fear is the reason we are well recieved at any level. They fear us. We have illegally occupied their country over bogus bull fed to us and the world by baby shrub. We should not be overturning any governments and democricizing the world it is not our place.

Once we are gone whether it be now or in 100 years the country will go back to what they know and we will be in the same boat with that region of the world. There is no deterant to this fact.

As for the soldiers who are there, I hold not ill feelings towards them. They are doing what they are supposed to do. I hold all ill feelings for the leader of our land and his sick agenda that has caused to be no better than terrorists. We are illegally there and we should have never attacked Iraq for 9/11. Where the hell is bin laden in all of this??? That is who we should be warring with right??

So agree. Our soldiers are to be applauded! They are only obeying the rules, set forth by others!
