Let me tell you something. Long before you came here, Abra and his ilk were making the same accusations against me. I have repeatedly asked them to post whatever it is that I have said which so offended them and then I would find a statement that was equally offensive from one of my attackers. NOBODY has ever taken me up on that challenge. It's cowardly to make accusations and then be too afraid to back them up. If you would like too post a quote from me making an absolute statement of truth, I will quote you or Abra or Voil or Dragoness or CreativeSoul or any of a dozen more making the same kind of statements. You are judging me for something that you do yourself and you should be ashamed.

This is not true in the least. I have never intended any of my statements as absolute truths. Everything I state is my own personal views and I will even stop to correct someone who mistakes my views as being statements of absolute truth.

I am not offended in the least by any of your statements of absolute truth. I know they are just your opinion. I don't get offended at all.

I stated my truth because you invited me and everyone else to state their beliefs as truth all they wanted. So I stated my beliefs as truths.

If you did not understand that I was merely stating my believes as truths for your benefit, I will tell you now that everything I believe is just what I believe. I am not even married to that.

I reserve the right to change my beliefs when new information to the contrary arrives. I will always consider new information even if it contradicts my current belief system.

If I did not do this, I would not be growing or learning new things.

You can believe what you want, and you can believe that you are right and that you have the truth. You can feel good about that. It does not really concern me or my beliefs.

You have told Christains "You guys need to accept the fact that the Bible is a bunch of storys"...a statement of absolute fact and insisting that your belief must be accepted by all 2.1 billion Christians in the world. You have told Christians "You guys need to accept the fact that Jesus was a Pantheist"...another statement of absolute fact, stating that all Christians should stop worshipping our God.

Watch closely folks, we are posting, by special request, the REPLAY of a masterful and insiduous 'Slippin' & Slidin' TWWISTER' Triple Play.

Spider is snaking through with a TRIPLE slipping and sliding ASSOCIATION OF FALSEHOODS.

In my experience as an observer, Spider is in a class of his own with this TRIPLE ASSOCIATIVE of FALSEHOODS.

1) FIRST PLAY: The SET-UP, consists of a 'LASSO' type of FALSEHOOD (suck the victim in) association.
Our 'SLIPPIN' & SLIDIN' master throws random, and out-of-context statements made his 'associative-target', hoping to create the illusion of solid 'apologetics type' evidence' (aka pure unadulterated BS).

Here is the replay. Watch carefully:

'... You do no different. You tell us what God likes and dislikes. You tell us that Christianity is wrong, that Jesus was a pantheist...'

That wraps-up the First Play of 'associative falsehood', or 'the set-up' .

2) SECOND PLAY: 'The Loud, Unfounded and Gratuitous Accusation'

This is the classic 'Why don't you admit it!!!' FALSEHOOD. It consists of placing your ACCUSATORY FALSEHOOD real quick and dirty, and follow with the infamous 'Why don't you admit it!!!' line.

Hell we all used it extensively between the ages of 6 and 12 or so, and have dropped it in shame ever since.

But not Spider. Not about to drop it either it seems.
Watch how SPIDER'S is spotlessly shameless in placing his ACCUSATORY FASLEHOOD. A true 'artist'.

Watch carefully here, how 'truth' is twisted to 'fact'. How the master 'freely admits' lies (and the victim doesn't). And yet, ... You have witnessed a once in a lifetime moment in 'Slippin' & Slidin' Twister' history.

I don't tell anyone what the 'need to accept'.

Although any theologian will tell you that the Bible is a collection of stories that were historically collected together as a cannon. The King James collection is the most popular canonized collection of stories. That's a historical fact whether you believe the Bible is the word of God or not, and it doesn't say anything about it's divinity. I think it's incorrect to refer to the Bible as a 'single book' when historically it was not written that way.

I have never told anyone that they 'need to accept' that Jesus was a pantheist. What I do tell people is that if they understand Pantheism well, and then read what Jesus taught they will be able to see the Pantheistic view shine through.

I also suggest that most everything that Jesus taught in the way of morals and how to best interact with God had already been taught by Buddha centuries earlier.

Contrary to what you may think I actually support the teachings of Jesus.

I do however, personally believe that he was misunderstood by those who wrote about him. I personally don't believe that it was ever his intention to be crucified by men. I personally don't believe that Jesus was an incarnation of God that died to "pay" for our sins. I personally think that this picture is absurd, and was never the intent of Jesus.

Yes, these are all my personal views that I share with other people.

But if other people don't care for my views I'm not going to suggest that they are rebelling against God, or that they are choosing to side with Satan, or that they can’t possibly know love, or God etc., etc., etc.

In spite of the beliefs I hold that you don't care for, I also believe that there is nothing wrong with believing them if this is what you choose to do.

I will state my very strong opinion thought that I think it is wrong to preach these things to other people when, in fact, you can’t possibly know that they are true. And I also believe it is wrong to teach these things to children as though they are fact, again, when you can’t possibly know their truth.

That is my personal opinion. I believe that it’s wrong to mislead children by lying to them.

I’m not saying that it’s absolutely wrong or that God will judge you poorly for doing it. I’m just saying that, from my point of view it’s wrong to lie to other humans about what you know when in fact you don’t know. And I believe it’s wrong to do this even if those other humans are your very own children.

I think you should tell them the truth that you honestly don’t know.

That's nice. I also agree. I was told that there was a guy named "Santa Clause" that knew when you were good or bad and brought presents to you at Christmas if you were good.

Forget what the association of Santa and Christmas might be. I was not the kind of child to believe in Santa, but it was my trusted parents insisting that this was true. So, out of respect for them, I believed even though it did not make a lot of sense to me.

I actually felt very betrayed when I was told that it was not true and that they had lied to me. (And they were trying to teach me not to lie, that lyng was wrong.)

Next comes the mythical story of Jesus. I'm thinking, "I'm not falling for that again."

But some people even after learning that Santa is a myth, still choose to believe that Jesus is real. That baffles me. As they say, there is sucker born every minute.

Like Spider pointed out, I am a new kid on the block here. But it looks more like a "pounding your head against a brick wall" syndrome to me. Or maybe talking to a brick wall. It serves no point except that it is quite fun.

If you will go back and read my posts (about pg.15 or before) you will see that I said God created all, including that which is now evil. There is no question that I can support that in the Bible, and yes, I am very much a Christian.

What you need to realize is that evil is a matter of definition. It just so happens that if you believe a literal interpretation of the Bible (which I do), then the God revealed there gets to set those definitions by the fact that He is Creator. HOWEVER, if you are talking with someone who does not accept that same premise, then good and evil both become subject to their own belief system. In that case, you will not likely be able to convince those people of your point of view by using the Bible as the authority on which you base your assertions, because they believe it to be foolishness or at best fairy tales.

There is a Proverb that says - You cannot argue with a fool for he either laughs or rages and there is no peace. Be careful in your discussions...

Persecuted christian syndrom showing here. I have continually told you have the right to however you believe. I give my logic on what you post and if you do not agree that is your business. Noone here has been forcing you to do anything. You are or seem to be the self righteous and self delusional one, we, none of us can help with that if you refuse to look upon what we say and take it at the value that it is, which is, our personal views on christianiy, your christianity(which is different from others, spirituality, ethics, logic, etc.....

We are not wrong and you right, nor are we right and you wrong. That is the joy of religious beliefs, you can hold a rock in reverence and it is okay in the religious world.

You are trying to make a logic of the illogical and it cannot be done. Christianity is not logical, ethical, etc.... It is one of many many religions and they are all the same. Blind beliefs with no proof. They stand on this premise because they do not need proof, they are religions.
