well when the ""people"" do not learn the way govt works then soon the govt will do whatever it wants

kinda like when the west was outlawing guns in town

was not permitted to be done but the ""people"" were ignorant
of the fact so now it is everywhere and an excepted policy

there is one republican who says he will pull out of iraq starting immediately, ron paul.  sure he "doesn't have a chance", but isn't it our responsibility to vote for whom we have the same values and not which one we think is coolest of the popular runners? but what Are our values..do you believe in preemptive policing the world type wars that "will last a hundred years"?  do you support a "north american union" that is opening up our borders north And south under "economic partnership" behind our backs and without our vote.. while simultaneously beginning to issue us "national ID cards" in may that have GPS-like radio frequency identification chips in them?   will you support a country that tells you you are free while working with "The International Bankers" that are above the governments, and mediate our currencies to form a one world government. by then They might even think it's in "our best interest" and national/world security to go ahead and implant those R.F.IDs in our bodies to help manage the chaos that They are actually causing so that we might consent to their "New World Order"

Ever since the First Gulf War (1990), hardly a year goes by where we aren't inundated by rumors of re-instatement of a military draft. No, it will not happen no matter which party wins the presidency.

Hillary for president? No way! Haven't you guys been following the news? Ted Kennedy and his clan are backing Obama; he is the reincarnation of JFK. Kennedy is at the top of the Democratic party, so this is an important endorsement, which should tell you Hillary is out; Obama is in.

Additionally, the Democratic female governor who gave the rebuttal address to Bush's State of the Union Address is backing Obama. That put the nail in Hillary's coffin. The DNC doesn't want Hillary and she will not get the nomination.

Sheesh, can we think about the whole concept of a withdrawal time line rationally for a sec?

The current enemy in the Middle East, whom I'll call Islamofascists (NOT to be confused with Moslems as a whole), are intent on wiping out all belief systems besides their own. It doesn't take much digging to figure this out. But that's normal for people like that, and it's not limited to Islam or even religion in general.

What separates the current enemy from others like them (WWII's Nazis, for example) is that most fundamentally want to live, while Islamofascists are spurred on by a belief that they'll go to heaven if they die while getting rid of some infidels, and are quite content to get blown to bits as long as it means glory to their god.

From a practical standpoint for us, this stark-raving-mad fanaticism absolutely requires a kill-or-be-killed defense mentality. As allies with Israel and a perceived breeding ground for everything that goes against their chosen values, the US is Target #1, and again, they'll stop at nothing until we've been completely wiped out. Furthermore, they capitalize on the idea of the Moslem people as a great victim of global injustice, which will, without doubt, cause these ideas to spread like wildfire if left unchecked. Bad news, my friend.

Of COURSE timetabled pullout out of Iraq would make things worse. What would you do if your enemy suddenly started retreating? Be honest.

Moslem society is one obsessed with masculinity, even far more than our own. To refuse to fight and defend yourself is to be seen as incredibly weak and unworthy of respect, and a deep insecurity about one's strength courses through the hidden veins of most of the culture--believe me, I know. These Islamofascists see the American public's lack of support for this war and don't see a society of wise, peaceful people...to them we're basically a bunch of wussbags who literally aren't even human. Securing a democratic Iraq really is important. It's literally the difference between immediate attack and keeping the folks here at home safe and sound. This war isn't world policing...no, it's good old-fashioned self interest. I don't care who gets into office, if he's got half a brain on his shoulders I strongly suspect he'll discard the idea after his first couple of briefings.

Yes, he. Sorry amigos, but Hillary's not going to get close. Not saying that out of spite or preference for another runner..just saying how it's gonna be.

As for everything else you posted about, Aaron, I pretty much agree completely. Sounds very much like you've watched Russo's documentary. You won't see me accepting a USID any time soon. Heh..I'll expatriate before they slap me with one of those buggers.

Dang, I wrote another novel. Sorry guys, I guess I'm bad at that. (Or good, maybe. The glass is half full, eh? )

Cheers! smokin

You dont think the Clintons made millions when "Ol Bill pardoned all those millonaire fugitives right before he left office in disgrace. How bout Hillary taking 10 millon dollars for the "Clinton library" from the dictator King Faud of saudi arabia. My how we forget...

Unfortunately I think Hilary has a real shot of winning. If John McCain gets the primary she will. Mitt Romney has the money to back him up, and he has good morals, i'm backing him.

Oh I know he's a freakin crook! He has always just gotten a slap on the hand. It makes me sick honestly. That's all the media is talking about and it's giving them publicity and power, like it always has. "America's 1st family" my ass. They are an embarrasment to our country!

I am really hoping for a Hillary and Barack ticket for President. I think that they would be a winning combination! I really hope that Hillary chooses Barack as her vice president, or Barack chooses Hillary as his vice president. The Democrats want to bring our troops home from Iraq. If John Mcain or any other Republican wins the presidency do you think that there will be a military draft?

Ok, you do know that both Hilary and Obama stated that they would not return the troops their first term.

The deal with Hillary is, her voice is pretty unpleasant. Dosen't the President have to have a moderately pleasant speaking voice?

This is true. And the way she smiles and laughs? You can tell it's not genuine.

Interesting tidbit: Hillary has said publicly that she was named after Sir Edmund Hillary, who was one of the first known climbers to reach the summit of Mt. Everest in the summer of '53. However Senator Clinton was born in 1947, well before Sir Hillary had achieved any sort of widespread recognition--in fact, before this feat he was essentially a "nobody". Hate to say it dears, but Senator Clinton's pretty much a blatant liar.
