i read your profile,,,it says 18-50 an you are 52 yo,,,,,,that kinda says a lot itself,,,,so it sounds like to me that you are wanting every one to tell you that it's ok to travel a few hundred miles to get layed,,,,,an if that encounter dosent work,,,,,,,,,,,,next!!!!!!

That was just for emailing me b/c a friend was younger than the age limit I had up. I didn't say anything about getting laid. I just asked a question & wanted some opinions. They have never worked for me. I have a young son and in school. I will not move for anyone. My ex-boyfriend was in the army and stationed a few states away. I couldn't handle it, so I broke it off.

oh i have a very good clue what a long distant relation ship is all about,,,,did u take th time to read other peoples coments,,,they are all correct,,,,it works for some,,,,but most th time they don't,,but as far as what you are looking for,,it's possible that you walk rite by it every day,,,,so all i can really tell ya,,,,is good luck

in MY opinion.. YES! they CAN work.. like others have said.. it takes Patience.. TRUST.. and LOTS of communication & hard work!! but the Rewards are LIMITLESS!!
in our case we've a plan of action and are NEVER farther than a phone call or text away!! Magic and I live 3 hrs drive apart.. and our arrangement is he goes back for work and to fulfill his responsabilities but the MOMENT he's DONE he's on his way "HOME".. 
and YES.. there DOES need to a plan of "future" action in place.. in our case he's coming HERE! as it's easier for HIM to move.. 
you can't hold yourself back from meeting possibly THE Perfect mate for you!! DISTANCE is only relative to the limitations you put on YOUR happiness! but.. that's jmo

Yes, I have a friend who met her boyfriend (now husband) online and he was several states away. Because she has a child and shares custody with her ex-husband, her new husband relocated to Texas.
