Well I still say they do work. I moved 2000 miles was married to my ex 7 years and together 8.5. We are divorced now, but lasted longer than most marriages anyway! Still wouldn't trade the experience!

yes they do, I am in one right now. I am in NY and TheCaptain is in Boise Idaho. We have been together for going on eight months now and I am planning on moving to Idaho when I get approved for my transfer from my job.
It takes work and trust, on both sides.

From several states apart I'm not so sure one of you would to meet half way at some point down the road. My roommate have girlfriend from Tampa FL. She taken the leap and movie her and her two boys down here ;however they had been talking for over a year and she spent a week down here,so test of time and how much you truly want to be with that person is the answer:)
