When I was pregnant & my mom found out she said you don't like kids you have baby animals!!

When Linz was born & she didn't keep anything down in the hosp. she puked & I handed her to the nurse real fast! laugh

There are 6 kids in my family.

Brother, brother,me, brother, sister, brother

Youngest died in 2002, shot

fourth in the order died in 2004. froze to death

Order wasn't the issue either. mentally and physically abusive childhood so we all stuck together. We were the half dozen family. It was murder to loose little brothers still young.

I'm sorry sweetie.
I am grateful that I was there with the youngest before he passed to the lord. I was able to hold him and kiss him and let him know that it was okay and that someday we would see each other again.

The other, i got a phone call, but couldn't go the identify him so my late husband took that responsibilty on for me. He was my rock and then I lost him in 2006.

You know, take this in the right spirit, but I had such a normal upbringing .. loving parents, happy memories, great sisters, middle to upper mid class setting and I didn't use to be very grateful for it.

When I hear the pain others have gone thru it breaks my heart. and makes me so thankful for how I was raised and the pain I did not experience.

Oldest of two
15 months apart
He had brain surgery last year one month after my BDay.
Lucky to still have him around.
Not close at all, nothing in common per se
but if one paid very close attention..
they would know we are siblings of the same cloth.

I feel we grew up an 'only child' under the same roof.

"The Middle Child Syndrome"

When your the middle child at least for me.....you tend to have to fend for yourself. And yes did affect me....but only in a positive. When I was 16 I marched into the bank to get a personal loan with no co-signer.....Almost impossible but got it....at the risk of the bank manager loosing his job....he didn't. I think I have always just been able to fend for myself, and take care of whatever needed to be taken care of. I am still like that......I bought a house young, and pretty self sufficient human being.

I am the middle child

My sister is two years older than me and was the wild child

My brother is two years younger than me

I am the one who tried to please everyone, and still doing it to this day with the family. I am the caretaker, the only child left in state and now dealing with standing up to them all as I do want I need to do, what is right for me:smile:
