I'm the middle child, but everyone thinks that I'm the oldest by how I act. I'm guessing that's because my older sister has a mental handicap, and I have had to help take care of her and my little brother since I was young. I have traits of both middle and the oldest.

i am the youngest of four boys. i could hit fast pitch at age 4, could read at 3,took at least 1 butt whippin a day which made me tough.i think being the youngest is cool cause theres alittle bit of all my siblings in me interesting perspective .. never thought about that |

Baby of two girls!

I'm a twin of 7 siblings, two sets of twins actually. My mom was sick battling two bouts of cancer for most our pre teen and adolescent years. There was no pecking order, everybody was epxected to do their part. The priority in our house was my mom until she passed when I was 16. We all grew up a little faster than many of our peers.  I bet so Robin. That's hard for sure.
I have twin sisters only a year older than me. When we were young I thought we were triplets. HA HA HA |

See I think when we know this about our friends we can sift through some of their personality traits, behavorial patterns and they make more sense.
Like my kids always roll their eyes and tell me ... "MOM ............... YOU MAY BE THE BABY OF YOUR FAMILY, BUT NOT OF THE WHOLE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!"

OK, so here goes: My father was married twice before he met my mother. He had three children before he met my mom. My Mom had a daughter before she met my dad. I was last. I was raised with my mom's daughter, but never met any of the other siblings til dad passed away. OK, now YOU tell me where I sit in the pecking order!

NO clue. It's almost like you were an only child, but not. 
Yeah, the only result of the union between my mom and dad. I caused a marriage AND a divorce!

I'm the oldest and I have 3 younger sisters. No brothers. Made for a stressful time growing up. Always having to "protect" my sisters from all of those boys. I knew what they had on their mind and if you treated one of my sisters bad......you met the angry older brother

I second of four. With the first BOY after me, my baby sister has lots of health problems. My older sister was a honor student, I always ditched & was off riding horses.
I was always my Dad's favorite even thou he thought I should race dirt bikes instead of riding horses. (So we did both) Now he spoils my Daughter, the only girl. We have a close family, on my mom's side most live in the area. A normal get together there will be 30 or so. There is lots of love in my family.. Just not a lot of affection showed.

welllll.... bet ya couldnt guess this one but i am the MIDDLE child! yep outta 5 of us there were 3 of us first, last 2 kids came much later...none the less, i am still and always will be the MIDDLE child!
tell us how it affected you ruthie ... I dont even talk about that with my councelor Judy... NOT gonna talk about it here

Only child...was adopted at 6 months...but with my birthdad..and his new wife....my birth mother left when i was born...and died on my sons first birthday...never got to met her.
But did find where she was buried..and finally met her kids from another marriage just a few years ago. And to top it all off....my birth mother...my mom now..and my dad...all knew each other....wow..sounds like a srpinger episode..lol |

Thanks Lisa .. you are too cute. I was always called 'honey girl' by my daddy. Youngest of 4 sisters ... No brothers. No wonder men are STILL a mystery to me. Like friggin aliens.
