hmmm, well i kinda would like to go with the opinion of "the media needs something else to talk about besides the war" i mean when the war or anything else gets too boring we go back to global warming...i think it would b nice if they put something positive on the news once in a while

Positive doesn't sell though. You get about 8 disaster stories to every happy story.

Global warming and freezing are natural processes. Could we be speeding up the natural process maybe. Will we live through the changes that happens? Who knows. I believe from reading and watching documentaries that our planet is an evolving planet. The history of earth shows it is an ever changing history. We may see massive changes or slow ones in our lifetimes but it is forever changing. We are as fragile as all other life on this planet and should a massive change happen we are as doomed as the dinasaurs to the environment.

Problem is, people like bad things happening to other people. Makes them feel better that it didn't happen to them. And you know you can't look away from a train wreck. News is a hole that's filled with pain and despair, not to mention idiots giving opinions about news, instead of just reporting it.

Everyone I've ever worked with has called it global 'climate change' as oppose to 'warming', because it will do just that, change the climate. Some areas will heat up, some wil lcool down, some might stay the same.

I don't know what to think about it, but putting all that extra carbon into the air from underground can't be the best thing o.O

I believe that what is happening is a regular earth cycle and that we are now heading into some kind of radiation belt(natural) ,some call ,the PHOTON BELT. It supposedly comes around every 25,000 years ,or is it every 12,500 years, at which time the poles will likely change and then the earth will start turning in the opposite direction. Then the sun will rise in the west instead of in the east for the next 25,000 years or whatever the cycle is?? No coal burning or other man made stuff can change this natural cycle. But yes, some like Gore are trying set up more regulations, and take away more freedoms on flimsy excuses like global warming being caused burning coal, What a bunch of frauds??I think that Gore and others know better than that, and that they are part of the problems mankind are having. It is all part of that one world order scheme. But those schemers have already lost any hope of getting their one world order, but they still blindly keep harrassing the rest of us with their needless regulations(dictatorship)

Just because they have only been taking temp's in recent time that doesn't mean they don't know anything about past climates. They can look at tree rings, ice core's, sediment and other things like that. So if those changes you are talking about happened over thousands of years, and now since man created the industrial age, we see it happen in a few hundred years that is pretty amazing. Man is the clue here.

It is called Climate Change

the old "my fridge is really cold! where is climate change in my fridge?" doesn't sound to bright

Sun spots, the cycle of the earth, global warming is a load of schist. Global warming is part of a bigger agenda, it will all tie in one day. It's another ploy to set up taking more rights away. Look at what Clinton did under the guise of swamplands. He gave huge amounts of US soil to the UN. It's called Globalization.

back in the sixties and seventies, it was a global freezing that was the big environmental disaster approaching. Now it is global warming. In another twenty years it will change again. for ten years we have been told that global warming would cause more major storms hitting the US. All of a sudden, on todays news, it is going to cause LESS hits. Duhhhhhhhhh. The original global warming climate model was based on the national weather services 90 and 180 day weather forcast model, extended to a hundred years and beyond. Do you trust the weather predictions for next weekend, let alone in a hundred years? It is all bs for purposes of a few individuals to advance their political beliefsdrinker smokin

It's not the best but good 'ol Pat Robertson does news stuff on his show. Sometimes it's just fun to watch him get flustered about a story and speak his mindlaugh . He's gettin too old to care what anyone else thinks.....and I like it.

Thank you for explaining climate change.
