smo... I read the first line of your post wherein you state that we are heading into the radiation cycle. We are NOT heading into a radiation cycle. We are heading OUT of one. Let me explain. The amount of solar energy reaching the earth is not constant, but varies in several independent cycles of different degrees of magnitude, which may or may not reinforce each other.

The most recent radiation cycle peaked in the year 2000, and currently is approaching a minimum. Therefore, we are not heading into a radiation cycle; we are heading out of one.

P.S. Smo.... I am editing this to let you know you won't need an underground shelter, unless you persist in spouting this crazy nonsense. Then you might need an underground shelter to hide from the people who will be coming to put you away in the loony bin.
