I'm single for a lot of reasons..
1. I'm a mom. It's hard to date when you have a kid. 2. I live in an area where most people my age are married. 3. My job puts me around females and geriatrics. 4. I have trust issues. 5. I apparently have one of those magnets that only attracts the NSA kind of guy 6. I'm not skinny. 7. There's not a lot of social opportunities here. 8. I'm afraid to be vulnerable. 9. This one's from my grandmother ~ "you're too intelligent, you need to dumb it down some. You're intimidating them." Whatever!?!? 10. No one ever asks me out and I've never asked anyone out since the 2nd grade when I asked Bobby to be my boyfriend and he kicked me and broke my leg. I might need a therapist. |

i'm sure i'm not the only one who rationalizes why i'm single.. but i just curious if there really is anything other than luck to finding the special person .. i mean obviously certain things apply like ummm.. if you're CRAZY haha... but idk.. i've heard i'm too independent and guys my age don't like that ect ect.... i just wanted to get other peoples ideas on the subject the day i find out that day i won't be singlr anymore |

I think I expect too much out of a partner. I only expect what I myself am willing to give, but I can't find a person willing to meet halfway.
