I think we only have half the story here.

Im not being critical here, but I think you know why he stopped talking to you. You said yourself you gained some weight, took updated pictures of yourself and then sent them to him. Right after that he stopped cooresponding.

Im not saying its right, but its a lot easier for a guy (or a girl) to just avoid an issue than to deal with it, hence the ignored e-mails. He didnt know how to tell you he wasnt attracted to you as you currently were so he just did nothing.

The fact that he blocked you when he did, indicates to me that he found something objectionable about the new pictures.

Whether he doesn't like the new pictures themselves, or if he feels that you were deceptive by using the older pictures, is something we can't determine from the existing information, and it's not particularly significant anyway.

His behavior tells me that he is not really interested in you as a person; otherwise, having gained a little weight would not have provoked this reaction.

Be thankful you found this out as quickly as you did....! Not everyone is as shallow as he would seem to be....don't waste any more time on this one....

If he went so far as to block you, he has shut the door. Don't bang on it, let it go. He may have someone else and you were a second and now she is first and all others had to go, who knows. Knowing someone for one week is not enough time to know them at all. HTH

Just be glad you only wasted a week on him. If the weight gain was an issue, then he really wasn't interested in the "real you".

Sounds like something to do with the pics. Did you tell him before sending them that you had gained weight? In any case, he handled it completely wrong. Update your pics, move on, and find someone that appreciates you for who you are!

I did tell him on the phone I had gained some weight and he is a bodybuilder and gave me advice and said we would work at this together and he wanted to help me. My current picture on line was taken 1 year ago and 20lbs lighter, which this guy knew.
