I agree about not giving out a phone # easy for a lady.
A guy should offer his # frst. to allow a safe call from the lady. I always give my full ID if I expect a meeting to take place. I think ladies have to be more careful then men. Always LADIES frst. |

we didnt exchange #'s so he couldnt call me. I dont like to give my # out till i meet someone Have had a few psycos that i regreted givin my # to of course did not find out they were psycos till after we met...lol So dont give my # out easily A real gentleman would have swung by and said something came up , sorry, or even called the starbucks, or if an emergency happened I would have left an email right away. |

I'd say, wait for his explanation, things do happen, but wait for him to explain before you jump to conclusions. good luck I agree. Let him explain first. Don't ask him why he didn't show.....wait to see if he's the first to appologize......If he does....I'd say go for it... |

You still have not heard from him by email? You should have arrived home to a message explaining the problem. Be very, very careful. While I have met some very, very nice men in person by online dating (abeit not for me) I have been contacted by 2 bogus people who tried to play me. The online scam seems to be that they are young and widowed. I ask for full name and cell phone number before a meeting and I directly explain that I will google them. I would not consider an in person meet without at least trying to locate some personal information. I explain to them that I am a girl and this is the internet and that I try not to go out with known felons, lol. Those scammers usually run for the hills and nice guys have nothing to hide and understand. Nice guys are forthcoming and self employed professional ones often have their own website and are proud of it. Good luck. I think you lucked out before you got into trouble.

I met this guy on another site, we chatted for about 2 weeks laughed alot talked about everything. We seemed to hit it off great! Made plans to meet today at a local starbucks and i im'd him this morn to make sure we were still on and all. He said yea and said what color shirt he wld be wearin and all. Well, he was a no show...i waited bout a half an hour and left. Should i give him another chance, he has kids and somethin might have come up. We did not exchange number yet btw..so he cld noty call me if he was gonna be late. any advice wld be appreciated! |

We had a good laugh over it all both uf us showin up but each at a different starbucks...lol
He waited for me for about 20 mins and i waited for him for about 30 i im'd him and he did me . We realized we both showed up at the right time but i went to one starbucks and he went to another in the same mall..lol |

Funny had the same thing happen but the guy got pissed off he was at the one in Albersons and I was at the one right around the corner the one he had to have passed to get to the one he was at shshshshshs so all I could say was sorry but we never meet again ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh well chit happens
