I met this guy on another site, we chatted for about 2 weeks laughed alot talked about everything.
We seemed to hit it off great!
Made plans to meet today at a local starbucks and i im'd him this morn to make sure we were still on and all.
He said yea and said what color shirt he wld be wearin and all.
Well, he was a no show...i waited bout a half an hour and left.
Should i give him another chance, he has kids and somethin might have come up.
We did not exchange number yet btw..so he cld noty call me if he was gonna be late.
any advice wld be appreciated!

Just ask him what he says, if you guys get along so well then it should be worth another attempt.

I'd say, wait for his explanation, things do happen, but wait for him to explain before you jump to conclusions.

good luck

because honestly anythings possible but i would make sure 1st chance i got to apologize to a girl for anything like that
it is messed up..but idk its ultimately ur choice but see if he leaves u something to apologize let him contact you 1st and go from there

Wait and see what happened.Just a suggestion:smile: it might be a good idea if your going to meet someone to get there number first before you meet.

Things happen, see if his story is credible.
Listen to your instincts, odds are not good though.

Well, until you know what happened (car wreck, children sick, cold feet) you have to decided if you will have no exceptions policy on no shows? Once you make contact wiht him again, I think your gut will tell you if, the reason is on the level or not......things do happen???

The chivalrous comments are pretty pathetic.

I say give him one more chance, an emergency might have come up, of course he should tell you if that's the case, but I know I'd probably be to panicky to think to tell date I wasn't gonna make it if it was a big emergency... I hope I'm not but...well I know me.

Wait for his excuse, but no offense , nowadays, ya pick up your cell and pop a voicemail or text in about 3 seconds flat. If it were a girl doing it to me. Sorry I'd write her off romantically, maybe stay friends. Unless she died, then I would forgive it.

Point is: red flag!

Same exact thing happened to me. We were even going to meet at a Starbucks. He didn't have my phone number (you SHOULD be careful!) but he left an e mail about 3 hours later that he had been called into work and didn't have access to a computer until he got home. We met another day and he seemed like a nice guy. It's a red flag, but things do happen. I'd say another red flag will tell you!

Since you didnt exchange numbers, I would wait for a bit , and see what he reason was for not showing...maybe give it a second chance if he had a good reason, but not a third..

If he wanted to get a hold of you sooner he would have. guess starbucks is the place not to be.
