Honestly, I don't want a guy to wait on my hand and foot; I always prefer an even exchange--a symbiotic relationship.

Because some women are like that is why they do it some and some women are just to picky or just think that they should be treated like that but it should go both ways. That is all. I know that i would want a guy to do that for me but i have to for him too.

Come on...I grew up without a mother and had to do everything for myself because my father worked all day and night.

I have grown up pretty much without a father. And the father figure that I did have, never waited on my mother hand and foot.

I've always had to take care of myself and my younger brother. We don't have equal jobs because my mother believes that I should be doing the housework.

I disagree with this. But, I do like to do things for myself. If someone else does something for me, I usually think that it is done incorrectly by my standards.

But, you know, when I am sick... I do expect my guy to take care of me and try to keep as comfortable as possible.

And you know what? I love taking care of my guy when he's sick. Most of them turn into little babies when they're sick. It's cute.

I've dated a guy that would do just about anything for me. Most of the time, I didn't encourage it.. but I did secretly like it time to time. I remember I was sick on Valentine's Day. He brought me some chocolate mice, a bouquet of roses, and took care of me for the rest of the day. I loved it.

Then, there was the most recent guy... he wouldn't do anything for me, and wanted ME to do HIS laundry. Uhm, thank you but, no.

I definitely don't want my guy to do everything for me. He does open doors for me all the time, and is a sweetheart to me. But I would be okay with it if he didn't open doors for me- I just think it's his way of showing he cares.

It starts at home. Your father does it for your mother, they teach it to your brothers, and then when you get with your boy friends, or love intrest they do the same.

its nice but all the time would be really annoying. I mean if im sick then yes. If he would go out of his way to do something romantic would be good, but not letting me get something from the other room or carrying my stuff if its not heavy would be a problem. I would go out of my way to do something nice for him, but if he execpts me to clean his house and do his laundry when we arent married or that serious then heck no i wouldnt.

I think that if HE thinks that YOU think its over-rated to wait on YOU then HE WOULD STOP!!!!But then again YOU might try to LOOK at IT as EVEN rated and NOT over-rated, and then YOU might FIND,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,NO RATINGS ARE NEEDED!!!! lol
