I'm a relationship kinda girl, not a one night stander. My idea of a one night stand (for me), is to maybe makeout, but never sex. I only have sex inside the confines of a committed relationship.

one night stands ? why is it called anything if 2 adults wanna get it on then so be it sometimes theres the need but they dont want strings and if they practice safe sex who cares its all fun and if a guy sleeps with 100 girls hes just a guy nothing more if a girl sleeps with 10 guys if she did it because she cared for them or that she as a human had needs theirs no such thing as a slut only when shes taking monetary gain then shes a whore i hope that settles that ?

I have actually never went to a bar, met someone and just went and slept with them. It is just a little too scary for me. I think I watch too many forensic files, CSI and law and order. Plus all those true crime books I used to read!

Anyway, I have met friends of friends that I would hang out in groups and we would have casual relations. Sometimes it would be 1 time, others it would be 10-15 times. Depends.

I'm also overly cautious since my real mom died from AIDs (from sex) and I never got to know her, my sister now has Hep. C (she says from shared needle, but rather careless sexually) so I have always been somewhat careful, try to know someone first, use protection, etc.

I think a slut is someone who would sleep with anyone. Just because you sleep with 100 people, does not make you a slut in my book, unless you were doing it for money or if you weren't attracted to them. I don't lower my standards for casual relations, so in order to sleep with me, you'd have to meet my standards for dating. Not everyone is like that, and I think that is kinda slutty too.

A guy doesn't necessarily have to be a stud to sleep with a lot of women, he could just be a smooth talker..lol

I guess this is me personally.......I have never had a one night stand nor will I. First, for the simple fact I am worth more than one night of mind blowing sex. I would rather find the right person for me and have many nights of mind blowing sex that I can really trust and enjoy knowing that I didn't catch something deadly that could take me away from raising my daughters. Which brings up another point........I try to base every decision I make on the well being of my children. I don't want my daughters to ever think that causal sex is okay and not to worry about what could happen. JMO

you can get the same things for you better half. my x husband, nailed anything with legs in high school, did drugs and drank. unless you screen everyone you might be with and all there x's you just need to trust the person your with is honest. i understand you not wanting to die young... but hell i might die tomorrow i am really not worried what i die of if i make it to 90. i have kids, and iam ok being single right now, and having fun.
