good Wednesday mornin to ya peeps'n lurkers OH my I need ta get more sleep it's currently 70F (feels like 73F) with a high of 75F but'll feel like 84F.. humidity is already at 84% and it looks'n feels like rain.. what else is new huh.. I shud get chit done outside like the LAWN mowed but.. I'm feelin too sore'n tired to move I've been called a workaholic by many.. (as recently as last night ) but I like keeping busy.. if not I'd end up looking like Jabba the Hutt although admittedly.. he's uglier than I am in my humble opinion anywho.. got things ta do.. like going back ta bed AFTER I go do a few errands AND mow that lawn? lol well.. nuttins getting done while I'm jabberin here so.. have a super day y'all..

Just relaxing this evening on the patio. A few steaks on the grill, a bottle of wine, with some good music. No neighbors, no grandkids, just peace and quiet.

Just relaxing this evening on the patio. A few steaks on the grill, a bottle of wine, with some good music. No neighbors, no grandkids, just peace and quiet. A few steaks???? Quite an appetite you have there.

well folks.. anudder day coming to a close.. bye bye Wednesday.. it pretty much poured rain here today so didn't get anything done outside like I wanted to.. mowing'n trimmin the lawn plus the "errand" I was gonna run ended before it started cuz the sale starts only tomorrow 0 fer 2 anywho.. I"m beat.. yes I DID get chores done like laundry, dishes, cooking, vacuuming.. yeesh, ya'd think I was lazy here.. hope everyone had a good day and is enjoyin the evenin TTFN

good mornin peeps'n lurkers Happy Thor's day too y'all.. ahhh a bit of sunshine today.. YAY.. current temps are 66F (68F with humidex) with a high of 73F (but'll feel like 79F) NOICE.. humidity is 86% tho can't win'em all huh and NO.. I AIN'T COMPLAININ about having a lil humidity when TX is havin a heatopocalypse!! just think tho TG.. pretty soon you'll be much cooler.. poolside.. sippin margaritas lookin like a pirate ARGGGGGGGGG okay well.. not sure what I'm doin today.. I did move the hummingbird feeder to the deck cuz fer some reason the stupid woodpecker was slurping up the nectar and scarin off the poor hummingbirds.. anywho.. hope everyone has a good day

well folks.. anudder day is comin to a close.. bye bye Thor's day loving this coolish weather.. AWEsome.. managed to do all the edge trimming.. that was an hour (and 20 mins) well spent.. had ta stop for about 20 mins in between tho cuz the battery died on my cordless weed wacker.. and to use the corded I'd need to hook up two 200' extensions and a waste time.. but the lawn's now all ready for the 2 hr mow tomorrow.. ride on mower is all gassed up'n ready ta go.. and now they're predicting 55F for the morning YAY.. I LOVE these fall weather temps.. WOOT.. ma kinda heat (oops.. sorry TG ) I also managed to measure out where all the cross-beam supports are going on the rafters for the "skylight" sections.. gonna have 2 that're 2' wide by 8' long that'll be installed vertically and need a cross support every 2'.. those'll definitely let some light in so it's brighter in the kitchen.. considering I'm putting up a roof that's 14' out from the patio door AND light'n bright without the roof.. anywho.. hope everyone had a good day and is enjoyin the evening.. time for me to shower and jump inta bed

It's Flyday~~~~ mine kind of morning to wake up to.. Why cause it's the first day of my 3 day weekend.. I must say it has been a scorcher around here.. predicted to be 107 today but hey we are getting a bit of a break.. All week they said Sat & Sun would hit 110 now they are saying 107 whoop whoop.. Hey even a slight change is great.. Humidity is around 60% for today.. Got my enclosed porch windows all shut and front door wide open to cool off the porch. Contractors came and totally replaced my floor on the porch. The porch floor was laid down over 45 years ago and come to find out it was all done in short (1/2 azz job) planks of wood which had started to rotten and had a couple places they said I was lucky I had not fell through.. The indoor outdoor carpet seemed to have saved me from that... Now I need to wipe all the walls down due to some dust and do a bit of caulking before I put everything back in place..I'm over joyed with all the work they have done on my house the last couple of weeks.. I did get the plexiglass window re-sealed that had a gap where all the cool air from inside was going out on the porch.. Zee glad you are getting all those cross beams up. It amazes me all the house repairs you manage to do .. Not many men can do the house repairs you have accomplished.. You go gf.... Humm well guess I best head to the kitchen, time to fix breakfast... Its Breakfast Burrito's this morning..

good Flyday mornin to y'all TG.. that's AWEsome.. I know every single degree counts.. especially when it's down from 110F phew.. and getting that porch done is a step towards getting the whole house in order.. good for you.. awww shucks thanks TG.. I do what I gotta do.. if I had the $$ I'd hire some of it out but honestly? I kinda enjoy doin the work.. keeps me outta trouble and gives me the satisfaction of knowing I did it (huge accomplishment fer a handicap LOL) and not a bad job either, if I do say so myself our temps here today are currently 63F with 88% humidity (blah) with a high of 75F (79F with the humidex- so not too bad) no rain again today tho YAY.. so I'm headin out ta mow that lawn.. hope everyone has a super day
