well I got LOTS done today.. YAY.. love this coolish weather.. awesome breeze (windy actually) which made the clothes dry super fast.. and.. I was sanding down my dining table and loved that the wind just took the dust right out..

anywho.. been a long one.. busy tomorrow too so.. hope everyone had a good day and is enjoying the evening

Just passing through.. well I said those triple digits were fixing to hit and hit hard.. Yesterday with heat index 109..

Today we are suppose to hit 105 no telling what it will hit with the heat index..

All I can say is stay cool ......

current temps are 70F (feels like 73F) with a high of 77F (more like 90F) and peeks of sun, then a low risk of an isolated thunderstorm early afternoon and moderate rain after 4pm. Very windy.

I'm like the 'very windy' part.. at least it keeps things cool-ish lol

anywho.. gots stuff ta do so.. hope everyone has a good day

In the Pub drinking the free beer as it is kinda hot out there , with a little rain....Cant stay long as I have to plan a little trip to Texas....next month.....so much work for one little trip ....dang !!!

Humm just a heads up, you might want to do a bit of research visiting Texas in August..

Honestly August is one of our hottest months.. We are hitting triple digits even now..Yesterday with heat index it was 109...

Right now it is 102 here and with heat index feels like 112 outside.. July & August is not months I would recommend for a Texas visit.. But that is up to you if you are that brave

I just walked outside was out there maybe a couple minutes and well I came back in real fast.. It is so hot out it will take your breath away..

What ???? I thought everywhere you went was kinda air conditioned....were those UK tourists lying....c'mom I seen those videos posted by World Cup fans who came to the USA to take in the games !!!

FREE BEER ....... Lawn crews back to work, another busy day. No smoke, no rain.

All the buildings have AC but ya have to walk outside to get to them or to places you might want to see

Kind of hard to do & see things when it is that hot outside.

well anudder day is coming to a close..

been really windy today.. phew.. at first it was awesome.. then it turned wild.. tree limbs scattered everywhere.. whoa.. I managed to pick up some before the torrential rains started.. along with thunder'n lightning.. I do love a summer storm tho.. *giggles* poor coons are getting soaked.. but not like I can stop the rain.. if yer hungry.. ya eat regardless huh..

anywho.. gotta do some dishes, kitchen tidying, shower (if the rain wasn't so cold I'd do it OUTside ) then maybe watch a movie.. got the new Mandalorian & Grogu one.. we'll see..

OMG it's GORGeous outside.. currently 63F with a wonderful 8-12 mph wind.. ah-MAZE-zing..

gawd I love this type of weather.. clear skies and cool breezes.. ahhhhhhhhhhh.. such a great relief from all the heat..

I will admit yesterday was one for the records... Yesterday it hit 104 with heat index of 118.. It was 81 in my house had to turn on both of my window units so my main system could catch up..

Today they are saying around 100 so we shall see..

We normally have around 20 days of 100's last year we only had 7 we will be hitting 7 days today.. and have not even hit August yet which is normally hotter..

current temp is... drum roll... 61F with a high of 75F (but will feel like 79F) which is nothing compared to what TX is going thru right now..

I really feel for ya TG.. but I ain't complaining about NOT having to turn on the A/C and actually considering turning on the heat crazy for july 23rd but.. no control over the weather.. if I did? it'd be like this EVERY day lol GREAT for sleeping..

anywho.. yard work ta do and this weather is perfect for it so.. hi ho.. hi ho..
