beginning of this winter? about 70 inches so far in the past week? about 6 inches of that 70 the storm hasn't hit here yet.. however we're expecting about 4-6 inches within the next 24 hrs cuz the artic blast temps are supposed to minimize the snowfall amount.. last February (2025) in one dumping we got about 3 ft of heavy, packed snow, took me 6 days to clear my driveway by hand.. snowblower couldn't handle the dense / compacted / wet snow |

Yesterday morning was only about 3-4 inches with maybe the top inch crusted over ice. But today there is closer to 8 inches and it seems like it is all iced over. When it snows in Arkansas, it is usually not the nice powdery snow, it is the heavy, wet snow that turns to ice...

I call BS~~~ As of early Sunday, January 25, 2026, the Corona and Elmhurst areas of Queens, NY, have received approximately 0 inches of new snow in the last 24 hours. While winter storm warnings were issued for the tri-state area recently, the immediate snowfall in this specific, local area has not accumulated. Humm another of those fish stories ~~~ |
