I want to ask male members if you get the same experiences with correspondances, often when I write to a western female on date site, one of her first questions are, what do you do for a living? And when I have answered her job question, then she is gone, it happens several times. Have you guys simular experiences?

I guess it means that the women you've contacted are looking for multi-millionaire stock brokers, international playboys of independent means, highly compensated doctors and lawyers, or something other than people who don't bother to fill out their profiles.

Humm so how many here have asked you what kind of work you do?? Or is this just your experience on other sites?

Truthfully if one does not fill out their profile I would wonder what kind of work they do and if they refuse to answer I would not respond to them again..

We don't know, as we don't know what your profession is, or whether you even have a job, and how that could be reason for a woman to disappear.

Personally I'm interested in a man's level of thinking, which could be related to level of education and reflect in the type of work he does.
I find it important we both think on the same level so we can have good conversations, think the same way etc. etc.
A man's job can be indicative of that.

I also don't date a man who's unemployed. Not because I'm after money but because I have no interest in carrying the financial load and trouble of a man.

I come from Australia. The chances of chatting with someone who knows who Beethoven is are slim. Immediately, it is clear you are educated, your spelling indicates non native English speaker, a musician of some calibre, you coulf probably have an interesting conversation about more than the weather, you are probably quite sensitive.....etc
