"So, what are you selling?"

Lol

The three main indicators that send the global stock market in a tailspin are:

1/ The falling of the yen. Japan rising it's interest rates to keep its economy in survival mode. US and EU debt have a strangle hold on their economy and Japan has begin selling off their debts. Japan being the third or 4th largest economy in the world will affect the US and EU markets.

2/ Disappointed July US job report send shockwaves globally of an US economic slowdown and recession.

3/Crumbling tech stocks. Microsoft is the lastest company to lay off over 80% of its staff. Part of a long list of companies over the last 2 years laying off hundreds of staff across industries.

The handwriting is on the wall.

1. The yen's only fallen back to where it was back in March. I follow the dollar/yen market pretty closely--it's one of the "majors" and it's interesting that it's correcting, but nowhere near historic or "crash" levels.

2. "Disappointing" jobs numbers aren't that big of a deal, either. The latest number is down to what would've been an average month under Trump, before the pandemic.

3. Microsoft did not layoff 80% of their workforce. Only about 3% over the past two years. Maybe you're thinking of Elon Musk's X.com, where he fired up to 75% of them, but that's Musk self-destructing, and not the US economy.

It looks as if the real Kamala has resurfaced… on day one she plans to inact a policy to control the price on food…this policy has been tried before and failed, leading to food shortages, black markets and unsanitary or contaminated food sources. But this policy, I think will be put in place as a cover up of her and Bidens policies that have those prices so high… she just took a little wind out of her sails .. more to come I’m sure…

Kamala has totally failed at border control. When reminded that she had never visited the border... "ha, ha, ha, and I've never been to Europe either". What the heck, the VP has never been to Europe? Makes me think she has little to no relevant foreign policy experience.

I remember the first day Biden took office. I was totally disgusted that he flagrantly signed executive order after executive order reversing Trump policies that had been working, especially the one regarding Trump's border control.

I'm not against immigrants, just let them come in legally, and not by jumping the line of those who respect our laws by immigrating properly.

1/ "the yen's only fallen back to where it was back in March" has nothing to do with the fact that the yen has been decreasing steadily over the last 3 years, losing value. Japan has lost its position as the world 3rd powerful economy. With a declining yen, Bank of Japan did what was needed to stop its economy from collapsing which had a rippling effect on global stock markets with the NY stock exchange receiving the worst hit. 14B lost and thousands of investors wiped out in one day.

2/ I deal with facts not opinions or assumptions. How a disappointing US July 2024 job report that send shockwaves globally and rattled global markets with fears of a coming US recession has to do with Trump and a 2020 pandemic is beyond me.

3/ Git hub is a Microsoft company with 80% of its staff lay off. Links below detailing ongoing US job layoffs across industries:

Mostly Only Women support Kamala.

That may be true among Republicans, but Harris leads among independent and non-MAGA voters, too.

Hypothetically, it could be that the vast majority of the 48% figure are women.

Do not believe everything you read from the Leftist Liberal news media.

Kalama has no real leads in several areas. She is a puppet for Marxist leaders just as J Biden was.

Sure, it's just like Trump to pretend he's great. Jobs numbers were frequently revised during his administration and in the end he wound up with negative jobs growth over her presidency.

Here's an article from 2019 about revisions showing that his jobs numbers were inflated by about 20%. And that was even before the pandemic, which he hugely mismanaged.

Kamala did not do her job as VP. Now trying to be a president.

Of course Kamala did her job as VP. She stood ready to take over as President the whole time, and as Constitutionally required, she broke ties in the Senate and regularly checked in on the President.

And before you cry more, VP Harris was never made a "Border Czar."

Theresa Cardinal Brown, senior adviser on immigration and border policy at the Bipartisan Policy Center, said that early in the Biden administration, Harris was assigned the task of reducing migration to the U.S. southern border and collaborating with Central American nations to address the root causes of migration through diplomacy, development and investment.

“She was never named a border czar. In fact, the border was not her priority issue at all. The border was the responsibility of Homeland Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. She was never in charge of the border per se,” Brown said.

Popular because she had open borders.

The poll described in your link wasn't about popularity. It was only a poll, across 18 countries, where respondents were asked whether they had confidence in Kamala Harris to "do the right thing" regarding world affairs. Her results are similar to other world leaders like Biden, French president Macron, and German chancellor Kohl. And Mexico wasn't among the countries polled, so border policy isn't relevant.

Basically, it destroys the notion that the USA will become a joke if it elects Harris as president.

It’s already at that point after 3+ years under these two morons. We let Iran fire missiles at US troops w/ no consequences to them. We let millions of illegals come into our country with no idea what some are up to or where most of them are. We let murders and thugs back on the streets to commit more crime and assaults in our liberal sanctuary cities . We treat our homeless like third world outcasts while treating the “ newcomers” like royalty. .. So much wrong with this country under the democrats rule and worse off if the dems win this next election…
