Russia agrees to halt Ukraine energy attacks for 30 days
https://youtu.be/44stP5-XRFU?si=tHv2QTeLtxwAUh5o Yeah, Russia will probably just stick to bombing and shelling apartment buildings and hospitals, as they do. Yikes. I was being sarcastic, but wound up prescient. Hours After Trump Secures Limited Ceasefire Deal, Russia Attacks Ukraine truthout.org/articles/hours-after-trump-secures-limited-ceasefire-deal-russia-attacks-ukraine/ But shortly after that statement was issued, Russia launched drone attacks against a number of cities in Ukraine. The attacks targeted railways, health facilities and electric infrastructure used by civilians.
It is not a 30 day ceasefire but a 30 day ceasefire against attacking energy infrastructure. What is mentioned above is not considered energy. Zelensky has nothing to complain about. He back out of the original 30 day ceasefire. See above. |

'So Trump suspended many of the tariffs on Mexican & Canadian imports for another month, which aside from making Trump look unserious, it only adds a delay to the idiotic consequences of a trade war, and businesses don't do as well in an unpredictable environment.'
It was either, US suspended or removed the incoming tariffs which was why Mexico and Canada was on the phone asking for and Trump decided to suspend them. |

State of the union: Trump lies so much, people can't tell whether the kid even had cancer. What an idiotic statement. Can you tell if someone has cancer or not? You may surmised, you may guess but unless you have been told differently, if it's stated someone has or had cancer, you take their word for it. Did you even research the kid before making such a stupid remark? |

WOTPS is that Zelenski is just trying to entice US to join in the war .... and for a change the US is doing the right thing by staying out ...thanks to peacemaker DT... A US President that wants peace, not war. How refreshing. |

requiring government ID cards is redundant and just keeps legal citizens from voting.
Thus making it more convenient for illegal immigrants to vote. Only in America. Verifying identification and citizenship is necessary for voting in elections. No chance illegal immigrants can register to vote in California. Without their birth records in the databases, they instantly get flagged as ineligible. While they could go to polling stations and cast provisional ballots, those ballots wouldn't pass validation or get counted, and casting those votes is a crime, so they'd be putting themselves at further legal risk for a statistically insignificant vote. Not only in America. I'm sure other countries have similarly advanced computer networks, like in Germany and Japan. The argument that having a government issued ID is racist and it disfranchised minorities at the pollings booth begs the question why are they millions of persons without an ID that the only way to rectify that issue is mail-in-ballots? |

In 2022, Zelensky proposed a peace plan, a series of peace plans and was encouraged by the West to keep fighting for its sovereignty that if he wanted to go on fighting Russia, he will have their support. As long as the gravy train was running (America), Europe would be fighting an endless war with Russia. Granted Russia miscalculated the length of the invasion but at the end of the day, Ukraine was used by the West against Russia and all it got out of it is a worn torn country.
Yes, the West is supporting Ukraine, but for more than just weakening Russia. It's supporting a democracy in a region where there are too many authoritarians and socialist states. Supporting Ukraine leads China to believe that the West could support Taiwan in a military conflict. Also the West gets valuable military intelligence on weapons development and Russia (and China)'s military capabilities. We see how good Iran's drones and North Korea's artillery are, too. We assess their communications and tactics. In short, they're awful, and we can see that. But this is not simply a proxy war, and we'd all like to see it ended soon, but good luck getting Putin to stop with anything less than all that he has taken so far, and not have to pay any reparations. You have just proven the intent of the military industrial complex. A month's war serves no one but 2 years of war feeds everyone. As long as the war continues "the West gets valuable military intelligence on weapons development and Russia (and China) 's military capabilities. We see how good Iran's drones and North Korea's artillery are, too. We assess their communications and tactics...", and the only outcome will either Ukraine will be decimated or a stalemate which we are at now for over a year while millions of men continue to died on the battlefield and by the way China already knows the US will come to Taiwan's aid if there is military conflict. They aren't deter by the West helping Ukraine. Asking Putin to give up territory is like beating a dead horse. Not going to happen. Putin will bankrupt his country first with this war before retreating from occupied territory.Meanwhile Ukraine will continue to drain the coffers of the West. If Putin is open to peace talks including Zelensky the conflict will end, if Zelensky is adamant to continue fighting on the advice of the warmongers Russia will continue fighting. Anyone thinking Ukraine stands a chance defeating Russia is living a piped dream. |

Zelensky was on the right track when he wanted to end the war from the outset but was advised by Boris Johnson and other warmongers not to. Just so that the West would fight Russia, using Ukraine as it's proxy while dangling a NATO entry carrot in from of Zelensky. At the end of the day, he gamble big and lost. Not at all what happened. Back in February '22, before Russia invaded, Zelensky worked to negotiate security agreements from Russia and NATO countries, while Russia was insisting that they weren't going to invade (pay no attention to their forces gathering near the borders) and Biden flat-out exposed everything to make it clear Russia was going to invade. There was no pressure from the West for Ukraine to fight Russia. Back then, everybody assumed Russia would roll over Ukrainian forces and take the entire country in a few days. The West famously offered to get Zelensky out of there--a flight out of the country, and he said "I need ammunition, not a ride!" edition.cnn.com/2022/02/26/europe/ukraine-zelensky-evacuation-intl/index.html In 2022, Zelensky proposed a peace plan, a series of peace plans and was encouraged by the West to keep fighting for its sovereignty that if he wanted to go on fighting Russia, he will have their support.
