seriously i always wonder how some people tell others off they are nerd or geeks cause they wear glasses

its called "poor eyesight"
so yes we wear these things called "glasses"

when i first had to get glasses i wasnt scared at all and accepted to know i have poor eye sight

and yet people are still told of cause they wear glasses
to everyone who wears glasses show no fear and dont let people wiht perfect 20/20 vision get to you

also contacts are good too, but i dont wear em i could if i want but im ok with glasses?

I were glasses and am a geek. I accept it. I am proud of my geekeness. though I dont believe the glasses have anything to do with it...

Gone are the days when glasses instantly labelled someone a nerd. Or so I thought

sometimes im annoyed wearing glasses lol
but its all good to me its like a seccond nature to me
and since i take them off at times i also have lost fear in tha dark or just alone lol

so i accept i have to live my life this way from now on

Maybe it is just that I now associate with more successful and grown-up people now. If people are giving you hell...you clearly are hanging out with the wrong crowd.

I wear glasses, and I have always been attracted to girls who wear glasses.

I tried contacts but they didn't work for me.

I'm in the same boat! Granted I wear contacts now but, nothing can change the fact that I can build a computer as a hobby and I know what a d20 is. Geeks FTW!

I wear contacts, generally, but I like rocking the glasses from time to time.

Someone once told me that people with glasses tend to be more intelligent (thus causing an attraction), but I'm not sure if there is any scientific backing to that. My theory is that people who wear glasses may appear to be more intelligent because they have realized a limitation (in this case a visual restraint) and took proper steps in correcting it as well as possible.

Even if that's all untrue, I still wear them and find others with them attractive.

I got glasses when I was 7. People don't classify me as a nerd, I was actually classified as more of a stoner throughout much of high school despite being in honors classes. People do call me smart, but the glasses don't really play a part in it.

My eyes are so bad, if I take my glasses off and look at lights, they look like fireworks.
