People don't bother to read, that's why Most people are fakes just reading from scripts or are bots on this site anymore. The vast majority are in China and Ghana and can't read English and you won't always have the same person reading from the script so you get asked over and over sometimes. You'll learn quickly on here |

With this being a frequent question you are asked, you could put your location as the first line of text in your profile where you add details about yourself, that may help. Sadly, there are some that don't read the profiles, but you can only give it a try. Good luck in your search. |

I've seen it used as a tactic of scammers, and/or, 'information gatherers. Even though, their profiles clearly state, they live in another state, the millisecond I tell them I live in Florida, magically, so do they. Easiest to simply block early. |

No it's displayed on the app. Most that ask those questions are fake or scammers who can't use a decent translation app. As stated before they just copy and paste from the ssme old script that's been used for decades. |
