Well you make yourself sound so vulnerable
I am afraid you will become a target
for the unscrupulous.

I would say try to be a little more succinct in your profile, and less self-deprecating. You state three different times that you're broke. It's good to be honest, but maybe say once that you're on a fixed income and enjoy coming up with creative dating ideas. Instead of saying that you're too poor to buy plane tickets, maybe just say that you prefer to date locally. Definitely take out the part where you say that you're not attractive. Let your pictures speak to that--many ladies might very well find you attractive. Also, I'd recommend fixing your grammatical errors and add a photo where you are smiling and looking friendly. Good luck to you!

First of all greetings from Dublin. How is things at the Shannonside?

Anyway, what Muffin said, is bang on right. Try to put your positive points into the focus. Sure there are plenty.

And as an artist, retired or not, have a wee look into our arts and creativity forum. Sometimes, if you find common ground, like common interest, in arts you never know what will happen

If that's what you're expecting then why even bother being on a dating site?
Having a low income is no reason to be a grumpy git. But if that's what you're choosing to be then accept that that's what your life is going to look like as well.
Unless you can adopt a 'the life is half-full' mindset in life.
