Be honest, but not harsh. I feel I’m a scammer magnet; what should I adjust to lessen that?
Does my profile say enough. What should be added or deleted.

Very nice profile. You could set your mail filters if you are worried about scammers.

We are all scammer magnets no matter what you put in your profile. But you could put a question in your profile for someone to answer as a conversation starter. Do it as a separate paragraph at the end so even the real people who skim your profile should still see it. Just an idea. Good Luck

I think your profile is great! Maybe add a full-length photo or a photo of you doing something you enjoy. But otherwise your bio and your pictures are lovely! Unfortunately, there's not a lot you can do profile-wise to weed out the scammers. My advice would be to post in the forums. You can occasionally meet non-scammerish people in here! Good luck to you! flowerforyou

Remove YOUR glasses.

Dress in pastels or at least light colors.

Review the profiles of the attempted scammers and filter out all THAT AGE & Younger.

Remove YOUR profession. The suspicion by highly functional conservative Christian men of what Marxists have done to American Education is at an all time high (revealed to parents seeing their children's Indoctrination online during the height of COVID).

Conversely, Scammers have a Marxist "Entitlement Consciousness" so YOU are drawing them in.....as they think YOU are one of them.

"GravelRidgeBoy" has a good point, but I would edit YOUR last two sentences, into YOUR last three paragraphs:

Let's discover each other and have some fun.

I know YOU are out there.

Is it YOU?

No, she should not remove her profession. Why would she want to hide being in education? And why would a teacher WANT to attract someone who actually believes conspiracy theories that all teachers are out to "indoctrinate" kids? If anything, she should leave her profession in, in order to weed out people who hold such over-the-top, wacky views.

Curious, have you been single, for, say, a long long time?

Your profile is perfect, be you and make sure anyone who approaches you is what you want.

As for the scammers, I almost deleted my account over them, then I met a beautiful gal here who also happens to be a teacher.

i read, it could use a little refining, but its real, and should be ok, just if want to polish it, and I prefer non polished, but you ask yourself will person sincerely reading prefer it polished, or like it is?

if want me to help with my wording, just ask, people will pick apart mine as well as yours. lol. its all good, what 1 guy likes, the next may hate, so thats why I said should be ok.

as for comments about profession, yes some teachers push people away, but any profile with politics in it, I click off immediately, as well as I wont look at profile pics with politics in it. the Liberalism will push people away, unless your looking for that, but teacher doesnt mean liberal. my favorite teacher may be more conservative than many here can deal with, and when I was in school, my teachers sold & traded guns in the school with students, so I am dating myself there.

Melinda, the eyes are the window to the soul in saying that your main profile pic has light reflecting off your glasses so it's a little distracting. Just take another one in softer lighting not to dim either. As for your write up it generalises your values not really who you are or what your interests are. Not that my profile is perfect just a general first impression my friend. Good luck

That's 1 reason you dont see my eyes... even 1 person here saw my eyes, didnt want anything to do me. Profiled me on eyes. Supposedly I'll be next shooter according to her, based on my eyes. But not first person to be scared of me, based on my eyes.
