No matter where you are in the world, if you are just celebrating Easter, I am sending you and your loved ones Easter wishes.
From my part of the world, where I am now, namely Poland, this small country located by the cold Baltic Sea, in Europe I send greetings to all Members from the Forum, whom I had the pleasure to meet here. May the miracle of Easter bring you love, peace, and joy! And something fun for those who are looking for bunny Easter! Roses are red, violets are blue, wishing you a Hoppy Easterโand a Happy Spring, too! I thought, that there are members from all over the world on the forum, that's why my idea for this article. Happy Easter to you Nicole !! we celebrate Easter in Canada like the rest of the Christians world over .... but sad to say its not as huge as Christmas ....May the Risen Lord bless you and your loved one and keep you safe .... For me it always has been quite big, when a child mostly. I truly believed in the Easter bunny. Every Easter my parents would hide chocolate eggs in the garden and each time I would search for the tracks of the Easter bunny's wheel cart! I of course never found that, which I could not really understand and always disappointed me somewhat. If memory serves that interested me more than finding the eggs, haha. As an adult I've always had branches with coloured (fake) eggs hanging on them and these cute yellow fluffy chicks on a cupboard. This year I didn't get the stuff off the attic. Also... it's not related to christians. It has been celebrated by Pagans in the northern hemisphere since way way WAY before christianity was invented. And also... I am officially Roman Catholic. I do not identify as christian which over here is a collective name for reformed churchies. And even though officially RC I am a Pagan & Lightworker. Like my ancestors I celebrate Easter, nothing to do with religion. |

Hope you All have a beautiful Easter time, full of joy!
Always a pleasure to hear from All of you. I would like to share a "funny" Easter custom from Poland. Today is The Wet Monday (ลmigus-Dyngus in Polish) also known as Easter Monday or Lany Poniedziaลek and is a holiday in Poland. Is a day of fun, especially in the countryside, because the boys are pouring water on the girls in whole buckets. Usually, it is cold water. |

Smigus Dyngus was my wrestling name.
Polski Ogorki was my finishing move |
