I have a ghost I my shop. it turns my stereo on almost every night. and always on same station. 101.1.and I never listen to that station. have tools that disappear then I'll look in same spot 10 min later and they reaper. driving me nuts lol

If this is actually real what you are describing and there is nobody else who is just playing a trick on you, then the origin of this phenomenon is rooted in sorcery and witchcraft. We call them "poltergeist" but that has nothing to do with ghosts, they do not exist - all of that paranormal and encounters that people describe to them are actually demonic activity. And there is nothing that you can "burn" to get rid of that, you can't fight sorcery with witchcraft!

I know how to get rid of it but unless you are a true believer and follower of JESUS CHRIST you really have no authority over them - NO matter what anyone else will tell you or trying to convince you of.
So unless that first step is not taken (you have to take that yourself) the rest is pretty much useless, so I won't go into any details here.
Open yourself up to God and He will reveal Himself to you. But there is more to that then just chasing away a few annoying demons. God is interested in you and your heart. He is just a prayer away...

For the radio, is it an older model with a tuning band or digital? Tuner bands get distorted over time and in a shop they do get dirty. Old digital tuners also tend to act up (my coffee pot shuts off and restarts mid perk on its own sometimes, Its old).
Have you 'tried' replacing the radio? Try moving the radio to a different spot in the shop. It may have something to do with RF interference.
Most likely it is an issue with the tuner/power circuit.

As for the tools, I was a mechanic for years. I have absentmindedly placed tools, picked them up and put them back without thinking.

I've even went as far as packing a road service loadout box then absentmindedly unpacked and put it away.

The heavier the workload and the more things you have on your mind, the more likely for mild absentmindedness. Also, distractions (in a shop there are many) can lead to automatic tasking, sorta like 'muscle memory'.

Plus, as people age, automatic tasks become unnoticed. Even here at home now I do things without focusing on the task, then at a slightly later time I realize "Wow, I already did that".

I used to drive 60 miles one way to work everyday.
I can't count the number of times I made that drive without 'making that drive'.

Try placing your tools in a different spot. See how many times you automatically go to that old spot for the tools before you remember you put them elsewhere.

Find out if you know anyone who has access to your shop who listens to that station.

Pay attention to who is in your shop when you next notice your tools moving.

Is it always the same tools which move?

Is your shop close to heavy traffic, train tracks or low flying aircraft?

Have you tried placing your tools on a shop towel or in a tool tray?

Have you considered moving the bench, toolbox or shelf where you place your tools?

Does any other mechanic experience the same conditions as you in your shop?
Are their tools moving and returning on their own?

Is it only tools which move or will anything placed at that spot move?

Have you tried unplugging your radio at night?

I'd often thought I had some sort of poltergeist moving my stuff around. Turns out I'm just forgetful and my eyesight isn't as good as it used to be.

Just because you do not believe in ghosts does not mean they do not exist. I believe in God and I know of nowhere in the Bible that suggests that paranormal entities are demonic. I go on ghost hunts and I have photographic proof, tape recording proof. I have a SLS Kinect camera that sees in infrared and turns people and ghosts into stick figures. I have a picture taken with that at my father's home we presume of him as a stick figure sitting in his favorite chair. He passed in 2014. That was not demonic activity. So you go right ahead and believe what you want to but do not state that what you do not believe is not real and is Satanic or demonic.

Well, I do not know what part of the Bible you want to pick out and believe or not believe or what "paranormal" biblical activity you are referring to.
You can of course believe whatever you want that still doesn't necessarily make it the truth and you should know that if you really believe in God or better believe God and His word. But if you think that these are ghosts or your dead father, then sorry but you are being deceived. And I will state that also with proof of over 25 years of experience but I can also tell you the same thing - to not negate something that you do not believe but that definitely exist and is very real and is exactly what I was talking about in this case of the OP. That was to help him and for him to ponder, I really do not care what you believe or not.

I have encountered bad spirits in my life the first was only a young boy over a number of years&it was demonic I'm positive &it wanted me but Jesus never saved me I saved me by not giving in to it or my fear it's fav trick to scare me was to make a preschool portrait photo of myself hanging up in the hall pull evil faces at&shake my bed then laugh but it couldn't opress &take from me the energy it needed to get me & one experience at a friend's house was be similar to this one the radio would come on full ball things would go missing n turn up &also the kitchen draws&cupboards would open up at night without a sound wen it was impossible to open them without making noise but it was not negative an old man had died in the house he was just a lost soul there are higher powers but the Bible has been rewritten to suit the church&people in charge more times then could count &parts of it not agreeable to them removed just like a lot of books scrolls written records of other cultures beliefs &history
