I have enjoyed this thread so much, that what I missed yesterday I came back to check it out, it is wonderful all the things you all thought about while I was away.
Remeber "Flicka" and "Sky KIng" and "Ed Sullivan", wow, and "Old Yeller". I remember the whole family looking forward to Ed Sullivan Show. |

Ninja Turtles being considered "Cool!" Popples OH! Kids playing outside Christmas Morning! We were talking about that the other day. Usually they will be out riding their bikes or playing with their toys... Now that doesn't happen! Because all these video games and electronics and crap. How about low gas prices? Like under $2?! I don't see that anymore either. Not even under $3 Werewolf the tv series (LOL) I dunno........ we have poppels back at walmart.. we have ninja turtles too.. they sell pretty good till the transformers came back.. and my kids got bikes for christmas so they were all outside riding them around.. then it started snowing.. we all ate and went outside and made snow angels adn had a snowball fight.... |

Here's going way back.... Popsicles used to have two sticks and Mom would break the Popsicle in half so two kids could share one treat. That came from the Depression, BTW. (And I'm not old enough to remember first-hand, pundits!) hey i remember those Popsicles! actually i think they quit making them just a few years ago.atleast i think that's the last time i saw any okay so Ohio grocery stores must have not gotten out of the depression...we still have them here...I know for sure they were still around at least a couple of years ago...but I think my mom has a box of banana flavored ones in her freezer

Tobias - you the Man! I love hats, hats, hats hats, people have no idea the great expression and character of a hat wearer. It accentuates personality - can you tell, ha ha!!! People need to wear more hats.
