One of the reasons the poor are poor is because the poor are not trained to recognize the entrepreneurial opportunity.
They spend a lot of time in school and what they learn in school is to work for a salary instead of working for themselves. Profit is better than wages because wages can support you, but profits can make you a fortune...? |

Employment doesn't mean you're poor. Plus you automatically got all the benefits: unemployment, sick pay/leave, pension, pay raises & promotions, basic security of an income, healthcare insurance.
When you're an entrepreneur you have to cover all those bases yourself which for most is not affordable so they're constantly taking a huge risk. And many entrepreneurs are poor, loads go bankrupt. It is expensive as the tax office is hoovering over you the minute you register a business. It always means spending money while you haven't made a penny yet. |
