Desire does not last. A deep connection of love lasts forever if you both work at it.

ONE IS FUTURE TENSE, ONE IS PRESENT TENSE WHEN USED ALONE AS A SINGLE VERB.

You can desire someone but the result may not be love.

When love and desire exist in tandem,
the result can last forever.

Love is both Giving & Receiving.
Desire is only Receiving.

I find it sad so many people don't know.

Both are feelings within you.
To know the answer, you must first understand yourself.

Desire is a controlled feeling.
Love is an over-whelming feeling.

Desire rises and falls.
Love persists (often even when it shouldn't).

Desire is an intellectually-driven feeling.
Love is an emotionally-driven feeling.
