Potholes. Best stay away from Belgian motorways then! Last time I accidentally ended up there it was bad! And not just the one, but one after the other. I was wondering if I somehow had teleported back to Indonesia, hihi. Whenever there was a pothole in the motorway there they'd put a large stick in it. Really handy when you came back in the dark -which is after 6. At least Belgians don't let you run into poles. But it would ruin your car! I think Scotland would give Belgium a run for it’s money One time when we had heavy snow I was out for a walk with my German Shepherd when he suddenly disappeared! He actually fell down into a hole. Turns out someone had removed the drain cover at some point and as the hole was covered by snow my dog didn’t notice. Wasn’t funny at the time but I laugh about it now. So yeah, holes in general are to be avoided

I gather the dog was fine, but could've been you as well and getting hurt. Good you can laugh about it now :) He hurt his paw but it wasn’t serious. I reported it at the time because it so easily could have been a child. It now makes me chuckle when I think about it
