What happened.

nothing just how people mutual match you you talk to them and they become rude jerks. nothing in particular it's happened a few times

Maybe we need to set up a Mutual Jerk feature....!!

because their basing it off a picture and nothing else, not to mention they probably never had any intentions of talking to you.

Who really knows why someone will be a jerk anyway...Maybe they had a bad day.Or mabe for some weird reason something hit their not funny bone....let it go, and try to better than they are. Be nice to the next person down the line.

I've never received a reply to the mutual match E-Mails I've sent.

I do wish they would give you more info before you pick yes, no, or maybe. And maybe seems to work the same as a yes. I stopped using that after the first day or two.

Yeah well it sounds like you have at least gotten your Mutual Matches to talk to you ... even if it is only for a little bit. I have tried to e-mail some of my matches and they won't even respond.

So ... my question is why even answer yes or maybe on Mutual Match if you are not willing to at least talk to them via e-mail?

Bingo. You can easily ignore them. Although all my current mutual matches are not near me so why say yes for someone 10,000 miles away?? Eh, I had one mutual match I contacted via email before we were matches she talked to me one day said she enjoyed talking to me then ignored the rest of my emails. Enjoyed talking my ass if you don't like me at least be honest I hate people who lie.

Because "Maybe" means you'll check into that person further. It doesn't mean you're going to talk to them it means..... I think I like the look of your pic.

I do think if your intent is to connect then you should use the best picture you've got. Isn't working? Try a make over and try again.

Me! I haven't had any issues with responses. Maybe it's what you write that turns the person off.

I mean really..... you're on the spot to say something that intrigues the person enough to write. Better be real good.

I don't really care if I connect with these people, but why be an asshole to someone who's friendly? I guess I was brought up with manners unlike the people I contact.

So answer this then...... This site provides the ability to move on easily from anyone....

So would you rather they write you back and say... I don't want anymore emails from you and then you write back saying, "Why?"

or wouldn't it just be better not to get a response and move on.

Enjoy what you wrote to them and utilize it for another occassion is what I say. Your writing should never be a waste of your time. Just my thoughts on the matter.

No your response was good. I don't mean people who don't respond I mean people who respond then out of nowhere stop talking even though they told you they liked you/enjoyed talking and yes I'd rather be told they don't like me then be rudely cut off for no reason.

Everyone should view the profiles before saying yes/no/maybe... if you only view the picture and make a determination from just that, the system is going to be disastrous, lol.

That's happened to me a little bit. I always assume that it's because they're interested in me till I start typing something stupid like, "hey sweet love muffin, why don't u and me blah blah blah."
