Hello nanette . ..If you are referring to online ........dating sites are like candy stores ... perhaps they have over indulged and need to rest and digest .. laughing ... In general , motivation is likely a key factor . Sometimes a perceived attraction just fizzles through the course of getting to know someone ..or the connection does not live up to personal expectations . .. emotional .. intellectual or otherwise .

Given greater hormonal stability, guys generally have much more stable motivation than women .. when they have adequate blood flow to their brain fixed it for you

I've had the same reaction from women. Barring "that time of the month" My affections were pushed away. After so much rejection I back off too. In monogamous relationships, that's the beginning of the end in my experiences. Couples must never lose sight of what got them together in the first place. It is the endless affection shared that keeps people loving each other for a lifetime.

We liked each other a lot but after a while he stopped putting in the time and it ended

i for one generally lose interest , if I find the target if my affection is being distant and taking things for granted. i believe in keeping the whole relationship like it was the first date..... only it never kinda ends.... is that weird ....
