Well, not love as you need to see someone for that. But as close as you can get to that at first chat, sure as hell. I know, cos I've been there, the feelings mutual, and upon meeting proving to be real as well. And nothing to do with lust btw. I knew from the word go, from reading his message to his profile. It could've been MY profile. It was the most amazing thing. In any case, that deep click, closest to love as you can get, can be there at first chat.

Well, not love as you need to see someone for that. But as close as you can get to that at first chat, sure as hell. I think there are two answers really: 1) what happens to you and that is your own businesse 2) what happens to others and that is NOT for you to say... if other people do fall in love at first chat, it means it is possible that people fall in love at first chat, regardless if that happens to other people or not General point, let's not extend our view to others who can be completely different from us!

And it didn't pan out in the end, but now I do know how it can and should feel when it's right.

It's never love or lust at first chat. Most are clearly debunking the 'love' aspect of this post, but not overwhelmingly, so agree with you, in part, in that respect. Believe me, 'guys' can lust after a single glance at a profile Pic. Chatting with that person in the picture, may heighten and release other emotions, but the lust remains. If it's 'never love or lust', what is it?

People lust after and love people they’ve never even talked too, so probably, yes. Is it a realistic, forever and ever thing, maybe, probably. not. Love is fleeting sometimes.
