Any ideas why peeps only respond and don't create their own threads?

as to WHY I DONT START THREADS.

Well, I want to hear what you have to say. You create good, interesting, thought provoking threads I have noticed.

Some people like to jump in and be critical of others .

We are all guilty of that my friend.

I've posted a few in the past. But, it depends on how much time I want to spend on Mingle. Posting a thread requires you to respond to posters and put extra time into being here. There are days when I don't want to do that, and other days when I just don't have time. I work a lot of hours and most of the time, I just want to veg out in the game threads.

Sometimes I create threads and never respond? I guess I like to get Minglers chatting...

Some Minglers don't feel like chatting!

OT:

1: These forums move too slow. I'd start more threads if there was more activity on the threads. I've seen a few tumbleweeds blowing through these forums.

2: It's all been asked and answered 8,327 times. If someone seems genuine and clueless I might try to say something worthwhile. Otherwise, i just blather away like the idiot I am.

On M2 forums, many people start new threads.
The problem is, the new threads which are started often have little substance for discussion potential.

There are many here who believe the "Community" forums is a "Chat Room". Threads are started in an attempt to 'join' in on the chat. They don't understand the concept of the Bulletin Board forum of discussion.

Many are on their phones or tablets. Not only are they expecting a twitter/facebook type interaction, they are uninterested or incapable of reading/composing a meaningful discussion paragraph.
Its a sign of the times.

Many people are content to read but not participate.
Many are damaged and afraid to reveal themselves.
Many think what they have to say/are interested in, are not worthy of comments.
Some don't care to participate.
Some may want to but lack the courage or the patience.
Some attempt to post something new to discuss but responses are hostile or the thread gets ignored so they stop trying.
Plus, there are as many reasons as there are people who are members here.

Some of us try to participate in threads because the interactions are interesting. There are new threads made which have great potential for discussion but they don't get seen because they "fall away" from the 'first page/recent view'.

My case was... either I asked repeated question or my thread was deleted by admin, lol. So I prefer to wait for interesting thread then I reply instead.

I think the things that I am interested in are not what other people want to talk about, so I don't post that much.
