Have you ever asked a man out on a date first ?
How did that go? |

I did once and the date went well. Then we dated more and he tried to teach me how to drive a stick shift which was not a good idea, and he was a bad kisser, so that was the end of that.

Not technically a date, but I asked a guy I worked with if I could join him on his day trips/road trips. I was moving to Florida later that year and wanted someone to hang out with until then. He said sure, if he had nothing better to do
We ended up dating exclusively for a few months.... went well until it was time for me to go. I cried the whole way to Florida, called him a week later to say I made a mistake. He said I left, so I can stay put. Oops! |

No . Any man I have been interested in has been quick to ask me out

I've asked s few guys out in my life! I was interested in them and I'm not shy! The dates went will but none became a relationship.
I've had a couple nice relationships over the years , that I didn't ask the guys out first. Some men don't mind a woman asking them out. Some men do feel your being forward. Online I have dated and all the guys seem to like it. I've had 2 marriage proposal but declined. IN Person after meetingup. I'm not desperate yet. |

It seemed so at the time, but things happen for a reason, so it's just as well. Funny, when it comes to asking first, I never remembered that I actually did, until you posted this thread. I guess I do have it in me after-all. And initially, I wasn't rejected, so I just might give it a try again sometime. I still prefer they ask me first though. |

I used to have two relationships in total and in those I always asked. I've been asked only once by a woman but I was sure that I didn't want to go with her. So from my point of view: If I didn't ask, it's likely that I'm to shy (don't feel to be the right person for her) or I'm not interested. In four cases I asked, got rejected in two.
@Toodygirl5 to answer your question: I don't know if I would like a woman to ask me - I guess sometimes I wished hypothetically - especially when I see no chance that it's gonna happen. |

Thank you for your response! I think many women Won't ask because they don't like Rejection. It's not inappropriate to ask a man out these days! |

Not that I can remember. I prefer to be asked by a man.
And the prelude to that can be great fun! It was with my last partner. He recognized the quality and the click and moved in fast |

You would hate for 'the one' to roll on by, because of PC, shyness or whatever. It's 2021, Trump is old news, and a bright new world beckons. C'mon ladies, embrace your 'spunk' and rip into a new way of breathing.! Forgot to mention. Some, most, if not all women, will find a way of asking a guy out, without actually asking. |

Their second question is usually if I have fifty bucks on me. |

Just because a woman may ask a man for a date, doesn't mean
she is not a Quality Lady. This is the 21 Century not olden days. |
