How did that turn out, Poetry?

I just got on an interstate and pulled into the driving lane. A tractor trailer passed me in the passing lane. I wasn't up to the speed limit yet maybe going about 60. 70 is the limit. The tractor trailer just cleared me by about 10 feet when an idiot in a little car passed me and pulled back into my lane right in front of me and almost hit me when he did. I had to swerve off the highway to avoid him. I got back onto the highway and caught up to him and got his license plate number and will turn it in to the State Police. What they do with it I don't know.

I know that I hate driving on any highways.

Fitness

Quick stop at the Action to buy something I need in the garden.

do some work in the morning ... afternoon will be sunny and bright ... so a brisk walk is on the cards... no drink in hand , thats for sure!!!

Work

Work... then pick up my dog to go to my daughters then off to a musical play my granddaughter is in then back to their house to watch two of my grand kids so my daughter & hubby can go to a friends Birthday party..

Having another mug of coffee ... must be the 25th or thereabouts today ... and listen to some music, before I hit the sack.

This afternoon was mattress shopping.
May sound daft, but that's quite exhausting, haha.
But... I made a decision! Now see if I can make it happen that I get the money for it :)

Today? I have a lot of "should be doing this or that". Im choosing to give myself a well deserved break.

Being the long weekend and still in Covid mode , I think I will just spend time on the forums .... time well wasted .....

Today was mowing the lawn. Didn't want to, but I had to, only day until Wednesday I'd have time for it.

Grocery delivery
Decorate and fill out my planner for next week
Get the guest bedroom ready for my daughter's visit tomorrow.

Hope I have the house to myself and sleep/recuperate.

YAY!!! I bought a new mattress today!!!
The one I really had wanted, even though that was quite expensive. My daughter and I managed to get an extra couple hundred Euros discount, phew!
It takes up to 7 weeks to get delivered, so hopefully I can manage until that time as the only option I have on my old mattress is pain or pain or pain, no matter whether I shift a bit or not.
