It better be Euros otherwise it isn't a million! If paid in US I'd be 200.000 short of a mill.

1) I'd tell the gov. org. that pays my benefit they can go bleep themselves.
2) Then I'd do Marie Forleo's B-school so I know how to set up the business I so want to have to keep making money but also do what I love to do. I'd have the freedom then!
3) Find out from an expert what the tax office is going to do.
4) Set aside enough to live from for the rest of my life, safe, but earning me interest.
5) find another place to live, away from this chit area!!!! FINALLY!
6) When my business plan is set up, travel. I might do that whilst running an online course that makes me money.

He never answers his own questions.

A million dollars is not a lot of money anymore. I earned more than that over my 30+ year career as a truck mechanic.

Having a modern home built on any kind of acreage is roughly $250,000 plus taxes, permits and utilities. Just look at any real estate website.
Medical procedures cvan also eat huge chunks of that million. Look up the cost of raising a child from birth to the age of 21 according to society's standards. Multiply that cost by the number of children you have or want to have. Not to forget the taxes you will also pay.

Now, if you wanna talk about winning money, put me down for a billion or a trillion and I could do some pretty great stuff with that.
But a million?...pffft

Honestly Speaking ! There is No Lies Here . If I get a Million Dollar Lottery I would invest half of the Money in Business and Keep Half of the Money in Bank safely as a Fixed Deposit Scheme ? Now , Not Looking becoz you are Brilliant , you will Ask me another intelligent Question , Why Half ?? . Look , Not Looking! Most of the New Business is Going Under Loss or Flopped , So if my Business goes Under a Loss I do not need to worry Bcoz I still have Half of my Money in my Bank safe which is More than Enough for me . I think you are Happy with My Answer !

I'd buy an old missile silo in Montana, stock it with ramen noodles, spam, doritos, beer, a couple thousand pounds of weed, grow a beard, and spend the rest of my life posting inane, barely coherent comments on the internet.

A million dollars is no longer enough for me to answer a question. You'll need to up the ante.

Buy a piece of land out in the boonies, build a dream home and surround it with an electrified fence to keep undesirables out. In the home I would have a game room filled with every conceivable gaming system and also a computer room with all the latest hi tech stuff. I would have to make a weekly trip to the grocery store in my new fortified recreational vehicle built like a tank that could push idiots drivers out of the way. Then late at night I would sit down to enjoy my favorite bowl of cereal as a snack and would realize I need to go next door to borrow a cup of sugar. Knock knock, are you up?

I'd get my quaint little cottage on a river, bank the rest in a high interest earning account and live off part of the interest. And I'd travel a bit, visit some friends, and go meet a few people I'd like to meet.
